Caliban was a character in William Shakespeare's The Tempest, as well as a Marvel Comics mutant, and now it seems an evil spirit in the DCTV universe will also take the name.

A MURDEROUS SPIRIT TAKES HOLD OF A YOUNG BOY —

When a young boy is taken over by a malevolent spirit, John (Matt Ryan) must put aside his misgivings over exorcising a child and convince the parents that their boy is not all that he seems.

Charles Halford and Harold Perrineau also star. Laura Regan, Max Charles and Niall Matter guest star.

Caliban is also the name adopted by Frankenstein's Monster in Penny Dreadful...Crossover?? Nah, I guess lots of really messed up dudes just like the name. We'll find out towards the end of the month at any rate. More on Constantine HERE, and HERE.

Hellbazer was always just a slow and perfect burn. Monster of the week crap just feels wrong.

Full disclaimer that I am a Marvel guy who only has nominal knowledge about DC comics (I love Watchmen GN) but I really like this show. I am surprised it is getting such negative buzz here. For the people in the know, how does the show differ in tone/character from the comics and graphic novels? I might pick up some of the old comics because I like the show.

That would be SUPER AWESOME if they could get Serinda Swan to come back
as Zatanna for an episode. She would be perfect as an occasional guest,
And really help give the show a much needed boost!
