This looks really good. The animation looks great.I didn't think the JLA would really have a part in it.

Looks like its set in the same continuity as Crisis on two earths. It uses the same character designs...apart from Aquaman.

Greg Weisman did Spectacular Spider-man, so this should be decent at least. I like that they're using the Justice League too. The line-up seems to be pretty much the Teen Titans, but I guess they want to avoid too much of a comparison.

I'm wondering about Speedy and Red Arrow. There's only one male Speedy, and he is also Red Arrow. Are they creating a new identity for one of them?

Also, when we first heard about this, people assumed they would use Tim, because of Superboy's presence. Now they say this takes place early in the DCU History, so I'm thinking this might be Dick, instead.Have we heard anything about Nightwing appearing?

I'm also wondering if Flash/Kid Flash will be Barry and Wally, or Wally and Bart.

it may be ok for teens but they are kinda running JLA and associated characters into the ground. I've always thought super groups like this were kinda cheesy, it all comes off the same!! There is a problem/crisis they they all use they indivitual powers to come together to solve it and with that and "emo subplots" there are jealousys, rivalrys and cheap romances, come one now! Focus on the charaters solo shows, this wont last. Cartoon network rerun ciculation coming soon!

Why the hell cant Aquaman look like the current Aquaman? I am sick of this beard and long hair shit.

Superdog- This looks like an awesome show but a shitty adaptaion. Kid Flash should have been Impulse. There should be NO Miss Martian or Blaqualad. It should be Wonder Girl and Secret. If they needed an aquatic kid type they could have used Lagoon Boy. There are A LOT of changes here. And non of them are necessary. The comic was brilliant on its own, it would have been awesome on the screen as it was on the page. But... yes it still looks awesome and i can't wait to buy the box sets.

SHAZAM171
SHAZAM171 - 7/23/2010, 12:03 PM
This looks like a storyline that picks up after 10 years of the last Justice League Unlimited episode. The animation looks amazing and SHAZAM is going to be in it!!!! AWESOME!! Can't wait!!!! LOL

tazmaniak - 7/23/2010, 12:06 PM
Okay.Speedy slash Red Arrow.

@Shaman, I don't think they're changing anything. It's not an adaptation of the comic book. They are just using that name for this series.

This actually looks pretty darn awesome! I think this is in the same universe as JL:Crisis on Two Earths. Almost the same designs. This is what Teen Titans should have been in the first place. I hated that TT ignored the JLA all together. The only thing i don't like is Blaqualad. That annoys me.

I'm pumped for this!

This actually looks 100 times better than that crappy repetitive mess called Teen Titans the show. I cant wait. and LEE There are chances The Avengers could be really bad. Everything does. and Ive read Young Justice and this looks really "proper".
Shaman
Shaman - 7/23/2010, 12:19 PM
Taz- Using the same name and concept makes it an adaptaion with changes in it. If it wasn't all the young versions of the justice league and if the show wasn't named Young Justice, THEN i'd say it wasn't an adaptation. But it clearly is. If they absolutely needed a black character they could have used Empress. I thought she was pretty cool and could have used more spotlight. Miss Martian is just BLERGH to me. Secret was ten time the character MM seems to be. How unoriginal. Still, gotta give them mad props for keeping the same style and continuity as Crisis. That movie rocked and this show looks really cool because of it!

It actually looks good. I just want to know what age are they going after. Because "sex" ain´t what every kid should heard about on television.

When is it coming?

Superguy1591- You do have a point, wonder girl was a bit unnecessary in the books, "power wise". But she was still a big part of the books. Now the whole Cissy, Cassy & Suzie connection is gone. And they've replaced all that with Miss Martian which kinda sucks. Sure she can pretty much do everything Secret did and more, but the character in itself was one of the deepest female characters DC had. I find the "Martian" characters lacking, personally. Well, we'll see what they do with it. I hope it turns out as good, story wise.

deathmetalbrian- You don't need to be racist to figure out that Blaqualad there was invented to be a token black character. They already had a black character in the books. I don't see why they needed to change that. Empress could have brought a lot to the team. Still, you gotta give them the fact that they did appear to create the best "aquahero" yet. Cause i agree with Superguy1591, i hate Aquaman. This aqualad seems way better than any version we've ever had in the books.
