I swear, I feel like crying. Tim Burton's Batman was definitely more faithful to the content from the comics and I don't care how many people are on Heath's nuts (no offense cuz I love his performance) Jacks Joker was closer to the Joker from the comics and I never get tired of his performance.

I am not trying to argue that begins is better, they are in my opinion 2 separate but great batman movies, kind of like 2 different batman titles, or novels. But I would not say that the 89 version is closer to the source material, they gave joker a name and a past for god sake. Something that was never done. I do think heath's joker is better than Jack's, I think the reason some people say Jack's is better is for nostalgic purposes. Even though Heaths Joker had a different form of scarring and obviously a different origin, I think his take on the Joker was better. Jack had to make his joker scary with a deep voice of his, Ledger made his joker's voice almost feminine and it actually made him more terrifying.
