Joe Quesada talks Marvel NOW!, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", whether the ongoing Hawkeye series from Matt Fraction could influence the Marvel Cinematic Universe interpretation of the character and more with IGN at San Diego Comic-Con 2013. He even touches briefly on the film endeavors of Marvel Studios. "I don't want to shirk "Thor" but "Captain America 2" is going to be an amazing movie," said Quesada. He also talks a bit abstractly about how the current focus on the comic book side can be viewed as a hint for where the film side of Marvel is headed, hence the current focus on the cosmic side of the Marvel Universe.

Very pleased with what Marvel are doing. There's not one movie from Marvel Studios I've thought was a bad or even slightly lame cbm. The shared universe helps that a lot.

Loved the "Hail Hydra" gag after Joe mentioned they wanna take over the world :)

I don't want to be like a lot of my peers here and be so "judgmental" but I really was expecting a little something in the form of breaking news. Oh well I guess I can wait for the weekend, not that I have any choice LOL.

Oh, can someone explain to me exactly what Marvel NOW is supposed to be?

Is it all the magazines on the same "timeline" or is it just a modernization of characters? The more I look at it the more confused I get

Please get rid of Loeb for your animated shows. He's TERRIBLE! The public really isn't that stupid, we don't like shows created at the level of idiots for viewing by idiots.

Joe Quesada was the worst EIC in the history of Marvel Comics.

His ideas were ideas that served only his desires for the beloved Marvel Icons but did the characters and their followers great disservice.

As an accomplished Moron, Quesada needs to look at himself and the acre of fat on his face and feel very lucky that Marvel mustve liked him and never judged him for the terrible decisions he made and that he amazingly still holds a position within the company.

As with his fellow accomplished Moron Rob Liefeld, Quesada has been a destructive force in the comics industry that the industry loves to have around as if theyre a very welcome cancer within the comics industry.

Dude can draw mean visuals, but NOW has been less than desirable. Some good, new things, but a gimmick is still a gimmick.

I've been more of a DC fan in the past, however, that's one thing I appreciate about Marvel - they aren't in a "Crisis".
