A third
Deadpool movie will almost certainly happen under the Disney/Marvel banner at some point (Wade Wilson actor Ryan Reynolds all-but confirmed as much last year), but while we await some kind of official announcement, concept artist Andrew Domachowski has shared some awesome unused
Deadpool 2 character designs to his
ArtStation page.

The artwork features alternate designs for the likes of Juggernaut, Domino, Cable and Omega Red. Some of these may have popped up online in lower quality around the time of the sequel's release, but they've now been released in hi-res.

Juggernaut #1
After Vinnie Jones' laughable incarnation of Juggernaut in
X-Men: The Last Stand, the huge CGI version that popped up for a surprise cameo in
Deadpool 2 (voiced and mo-cap performed by Ryan Reynolds) was a breath of fresh air.
That version was fairly comic-accurate, but it turns out he almost donned armor and a costume that would have bore an even closer resemblance to the source material's take on Juggy.
Juggernaut #2
This is pretty much identical to the version that appeared in the movie, and was likely one of Domachowski's final character designs.
Juggernaut #3
Slightly different color scheme here, and it looks like the mutant detention center was originally going to take even more precautions to ensure Juggernaut couldn't escape.
Cable #1
As we know, Brad Pitt was the studio's first choice for Cable, and this design reflects that.
The
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor would go on to have a blink-and-you'll-miss-it role (literally) in the movie as ill-fated X-Force member, Vanisher.
Cable #2
This is a lot closer to Cable's final look, although the facial features clearly weren't designed with Josh Brolin in mind.
Omega Red
Omega Red didn't actually make the final cut of the movie, but NFL player Dakoda Shepley did suit-up as the Russian mutant in a deleted scene.
This unused design was a lot closer to the character's comic-look, however.
Domino #1
Janelle Monáe was reportedly in line for the role of Domino before Zazie Beetz was cast, and these final two designs would seem to confirm it.
Domino #2
These early Domino designs clearly envisioned the character in far more revealing costumes than the one Beetz ended up donning on screen.
