DEADPOOL 2 Director David Leitch Praises Josh Brolin's Performance As Cable
The film has just started shooting, but Deadpool 2 director David Leitch has some fine things to say about Josh Brolin's Cable performance, while also praising the chemistry between Brolin & Ryan Reynolds.
Josh Brolin has obviously taken his role as Cable seriously. The actor has hit the gym and has gotten in peak physical shape to play the character, while also getting mind ready by studying the comic books.
It would seem as if all his hard work has paid off, as director David Leitch has showered a ton of compliments Brolin's way. With less than 20 days of filming under their belt, Leitch told IGN, "When he graciously agreed to do the role, Ryan and I were through the roof; we love him. He's such a great actor, he brings a humanity to Cable, but he also has the depth of acting chops to hang with the comedy when needed. He's bringing that character to life in the short 12 days we've been shooting and I couldn't be happier."
Leitch also said that Deadpool 2 star, Ryan Reynolds and Brolin have shown tremendous chemistry together on screen. He then said the sequel will allow for world building as well as playing around with characters.
Deadpool 2 will be released some time in 2018.
