DEADPOOL Interrupts THE LATE SHOW To Take Over Stephen Colbert’s Monologue

Lmao I did not expect the end part, but I loved it. Ryan Reynolds is an international treasure (international cus he's from Canada). We're so lucky to have someone like him who's so in love with playing the character. So pumped to see Deadpool 2 tomorrow night.

Regarding the politics, chill out, guys. It's pretty standard fare for late night talk show hosts to make fun of the president during their monologue. It's been happening for decades, it's not going to stop now. Especially when an administration is as ripe for the picking as this one is.

Man fox is really looking to take over the terminator narrative and story structure, they totally did it with logan, now with DP2. But deadpool 2 was still cool.

Im the first to call marvel out when they're not honoring the comics, but IW and deadpool did great jobs of staying true to what matters in these adaptations.

Cept how Xforce is formed. Honestly It should of just been formed in an Xforce movie with cable and deadpool as the bad guy, this was just reversed. Which is weird seeing cable be the antagonist. But I love how they captured the spirit of old deadpool comics, along with Cable and deadpool. Their dynamic is what made me love the characters more than typical marvel characters and its always been a downside that MS doesnt have them and if they did its scary to think they would dilute them to the point of being just more disney theme park mascots with the character depth of sleeping beauty.

When Disney does eventually get these characters back, which face it, is most likely inevitable because even if comcast gets fox, marvel can still make a deal to buy the rights for the characters back. Whos to say they absolutely couldn't?

I always see my predictions play out, so im gonna make another now, and tell marvel exactly what they should do.

Keep the tone and characters as is, just change a bit around and place the characters firmly in the mcu like they've always been there, just now we get to visit their corner of the MU. They should also keep brolin as thanos as a meta nod to the fact that he plays thanos and deadpool can already point that out. But when they do get xmen and FF, tell the stories from the beginning and over the course of one or two films build up to where the xmen are currently. Make the first xmen movie after first class and weapon X night of the sentinels, then they could follow the major events and polay out the actual mutant history. Just recast, except deadpool because reynolds was born for the part, and bring deadpool back once cable has entered the story.

Sure it would be a few years, but the build up and pay off would be worth it.

You would have a proper adaptation of the xmen saga. Just do major stories not like the avengers where we only saw a few days or weeks out of their entire history before the actors retired.

We never got to see cap vs red skull in the modern day, cap vs robot zola. zemo wear his mask, avengers vs kang and we will probably never see avengers disassembled and the stories play out the way they are supposed to. We will always get major dramatic events in the most miniscule form because the movies are written like long tv episodes with scenes and stories that are simplified and structured so weird we only see the avengers sitting around talking in a room or fighting. theres never anything else to it, IW was the first marvel film since iron man to have a more traditional story structure. and thats ok, but I want to see the xmen movies be films, like fox and sony movies, have them written well and not forfeit quality for childish spectacle. I want to see it all go down, and its how marvel uses characters that is the problem. We get nobodies instead of a cast of actual major marvel characters.

Xmren should be a few xmen against normal guys with super powers. Xmen should be every character is someone badass, so you do see how that history would play out in real life thats represented in the comics.

If they do weapon X, it should be Wolverine vs Hulk. That's exactly what it should be cept without the hulk or they could if they want to save time, and that would be acceptable as a major story because it doesn't try to be derivative.

Deadpool was great, but it really could benefit taking place in the mcu, then we could have consistent characters who could show up in other places, continuity and something to look at that is more pleasing tpo the eye because the costumes would be amazing.

Deadpool was not better than IW, IW was not better than blade runner 2049. BUT IW was as good as the first avengers and its epic like a marvel film should be. and marvel should keep the more swashbuckling OT star wars darker tone going in the future. It works and it elivates their movies to a status that can be taken seriously by core fans and not the bubble gum trend followers who likes everything to the point of hype just because marketing and fads tell you too.

Logan is an overrated terminator rip off and what wolverine could be? would grind that movie in to shit covered tit nugget dust.

Wolverine running through the snow tracking the hulk, or in the xforce standing next to a definitive version of archangel talking to deadpool while he breaks into apocalypses fortress on the moon?

Now thats the marvel ive been waiting to see, They could easily structure their films to mirror the comics even more, but they have to actually do it instead of finding ways around mutants and other stories which have caused narrative diversions that have lead the characters to places no one wants to see them go. Their movies can grow, and combine tones to make perfect marvel films, we just have to let them.
