20th Century FOX released our first official look at Zazie Beetz as Domino in Deadpool 2 in order to get the jump on the amateur photographers, and it looks like the studio went the same route with Cable.

On the heels of our first glimpse of Josh Brolin as the fan-favorite mutant yesterday, the set pics have begun to make their way online.

Last night we saw the Academy Award-nominated actor's stunt double shooting an exciting-looking set piece, but now the man himself has been snapped along with Beetz as Domino. No sign of Ryan Reynolds as the titular Merc With a Mouth, but it shouldn't be too long before he makes his presence felt.

I'm liking this release of official images before the spy photos. It heads off the "that looks terrible"; "it needs the right lighting" arguments we have

@MNLawyer - Very smart. They must have realized that with shooting in public they were opening themselves up to exposure and took an afternoon to shoot some well-lit, fully CG'd shots. He looks good live too, since the effects aren't that extensive, but still clever to give us the full effect.

it's weird that he is muscular (look at Infinity War Comic Con panel) yet he seems to be kinda skinny in the official picture. maybe it's the outfit ?

JEEEZEEE WHY do some people want cable to look just like the comic!!?? Thay ish barely happens in CBMs SMDH.. Ebony Maw from the black order is one character that looks like a spit image of his comic book look..and a few others.

Get over it yall!!! Josh brolins hair isnt FULLY SILVER... HIS BODY ISNT TOTALLY JACKED.. Just chill man

Domino being costumed in various shades of brown is such a sad choice for a character whose visual was all about high contrast black and white. The muddy, low contrast look for Cable begins to feel dreary too. Hopefully Colossus and NTW will still keep some high-contrast, crisp visual interest.

@Chewtoy - My guess is they did this on purpose. They're going to use this to parody the hyper-gritty style of comic book movies like Singer's X-Men or The Dark Knight, and have the cartoony Deadpool contrast heavily from it.
