DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE: Every Major Marvel Cameo In The New Trailer - Possible SPOILERS

The first trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine arrived a little earlier today, and boy, if this isn't the greatest superhero movie ever made...well, we'll be shocked.

That may sound like hyperbole, but the latest sneak peek is nothing short of awesome from start to finish. Finally shedding some light on what Marvel Studios has planned for the Merc with the Mouth and Logan, it also includes some unexpected cameos.

Given that Deadpool & Wolverine is a Multiversal tale, those were to be expected, and we're sure there are even bigger ones than these in store for us come July. In the meantime, we've combed through the trailer and found at least seven of them!

You can take a look through this breakdown by clicking on the "Next"/"View List" button below.

5. Alioth

We suspected this might be the case after watching the first trailer, and yes, that is indeed Alioth from Loki. A trans-temporal entity, it was created by He Who Remains during the Multiversal War and used to destroy his Variants and their respective timelines.

Later tasked to serve as a gatekeeper of the Citadel at the End of Time, we've seen it consume most of the individuals that the Time Variance Authority sent to the Void, including Loki's doppelgangers.

Free of Loki and Sylvie's influence, the creature was last shown getting ready to consume Judge Renslayer. Now, Alioth is back on the rampage in the Void and likely a problem for Deadpool, Wolverine, and anyone else who finds themselves trapped there.

4. Giant-Man

This is hard to miss, but with so much else going on on the scene, we'd forgive you for overlooking the fact Cassandra Nova's base is housed within the massive skull of Ant-Man/Giant-Man.

It's not just his head, though; the hero's entire body lays there, presumably where Scott Lang - that's the helmet design from Captain America: Civil War onwards - fell in battle. If Nova was responsible for that, then she's truly a force to be reckoned with.

The villains keeps some interesting company too...

3. Azazel

Jason Flemyng played Azazel in X-Men: First Class, though it remains to be seen whether he reprises the role in Deadpool & Wolverine

A member of the Hellfire Club, he'd later join Magneto's new Brotherhood, but was M.I.A. in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Why? Well, we'd later learn that he was among Bolivar Trask's many victims when the scientist created his mutant-killing Sentinels.

An X-Men: Apocalypse deleted scene referenced the fact he and Mystique are Nightcrawler's parents. However, that isn't necessarily something we'd bank on this adventure exploring in any way.

2. Lady Deathstrike

We're pretty sure we can see Toad there as well, though his return is no great surprise after the X-Men villain was spotted in set photos alongside Sabretooth back when cameras were still rolling on Deadpool & Wolverine

However, we are shocked to see Kelly Hu back as Lady Deathstrike! The iconic X2: X-Men United villain pushed Logan to his limits when they last clashed, and was only defeated when he flooded her body with Adamantium.

A rematch isn't something we expected, so fingers crossed it happens in this threequel. Oh, and look very closely, and we're sure you'll also spot X-Men: The Last Stand star Dania Ramirez back as Callisto!

1. Rob Liefeld (Sort Of)

Say what you will about Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld's art style, but without him, the Merc with the Mouth wouldn't exist.

While he doesn't make a physical appearance in the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer, "Liefeld's Just Feet" is a fun nod to the writer and artist, as well as a tongue-in-cheek nod to the fact he's become known for very rarely drawing feet (Google it: it's a thing).

Liefeld already showed up in 2016's Deadpool, and he may do so again here. Still, as Easter Eggs go, we can't help but wish this had been saved for theaters! It's a fun one, regardless.

Deadpool coming to literally save the Marvel multiverse at a time when the meta narrative is that the MCU needs a fresh start is so perfect it's like they planned it

Feige what are you??

Very pleasantly surprised with Azal and Lady Deathstrike making appearances in this movie. This trailer was fantastic. Didnt give ANY big moments away and stayed away from the 3rd act completely. Let this be a lesson to ALL other movies, and especially comic book movies; this is how its done.

This movie is going to be a blast to see. Can't wait. LFG

Wonder if they ignore the Lady Deathstrike history again...

@BlackStar25 - Her Japanese origin? Her arc in X2 was taken from God love, Man Kills, as Stryker's assistant that is revealed to be a mutant. She is likely going to be in this one sequence, nothing more unfortunately.

@BlackStar25 - This is not the film that will change backstories of the Fox characters that turn up and likely not even go over them at all beyond references to when last seen, maybe, in some instance...

...when we start the mutant saga is the time to wonder if they will go more source accurate or not and likewise with other aspects of characters such as race or height.

@BlackStar25 - Won’t matter. They’re all just variants left to fend for themselves

Didn’t notice them in the trailers but cool if Lady Deathstrike and Azazel are back in this ( especially the latter since he had a fun sequence in First Class).

Seems like Cassandra might have taken over and become the de-facto ruler of the Void…

Wonder if we’ll see Ravonna in this since she was sent to the Void at the end of Loki S2 and her fate was left open ended?.

I'm not usually a fan of random cameos, but Pym Falls is a cool cameo!

@RolandD - ya that was hyperbole. Looks entertaining though and looks like a great Deadpool 3. Pure Ryan.

@McMurdo @TheVisionary25 Yes to both of you. Pure Ryan but that is also the Logan of the Fox Men to be sure. The two of them together on this road trip movie are going to be great.

I think Toad is there too. The guy who's crouching slightly in the Ant-Man shot.

@comicfan100 - I could see them all being Cassandra’s henchmen.
