Honorable Mention: Adam McKay
Films:
The Other Guys
Step Brothers
Anchorman

Adam McKay has directed so many hilarious movies that it was hard not to put him on the list but his lack of action and big budgets meant it was hard to sacrifice a solid comedy/action director for a director who solely focuses on comedy.

10.Jody Hill

Films:
Observe And Report
The Foot Fist Way

There are two reasons Jody Hill is at number 10. One, is that I personally loved Observe and Report. It was a really good film and the comedy was there. The second reason is that Hill wasn't afraid to be daring with Observe and Report. It was basically the adult version of Paul Blart: Mall Cop. With heavy swearing also came violence, sex scenes and nudity. The fight scenes were also portrayed very well. This made me believe he could do a good Deadpool movie.

9.Matthew Vaughn

Films:
Kick Ass
Stardust
Layer Cake

The director of the X-Men: First Class and Kick Ass, the only reason Vaughn isn't hire up is for two reasons. One, I really want him to hurry up and make Kick Ass 2. Second, I wouldn't want a director who has already filmed different characters from the same franchise. I would prefer someone new.

8.Neill Blomkamp

Films:
District 9
Alive In Joburg

I am a massive fan of this guy as District 9 was absolutely superb. I would of put him higher but the lack of comedy in District 9 meant I wouldn't have full belief in Neill to use the comedy well and correctly in Deadpool.

7.David Gordon Green

Films:
Pineapple Express
Snow Angels
Undertow

Pineapple Express was a fantastic comedy film with also some action scenes and I think it was a great basis for Deadpool. Green has already shown his diversity in film directing with Comedy, Thriller and Drama films under his belt. I believe that experience would make him excel in creating a perfect Deadpool movie.

6.Peter Berg
Films:
Hancock
The Kingdom
The Rundown

Despite some mixed reviews to Hancock, I personally really enjoyed and he really gives off that Deadpool vibe with good action yet with the comedy still mixed without overdoing it. I loved that scene in Hancock when Will Smith flings that french kid in the air and when he flings the whale back in the ocean and it hits the boat. Its those sorta scenes which convinced me he could do a really good Deadpool.

5.Edgar Wright

Films:
Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
Hot Fuzz
Shaun Of The Dead

I a massive fan of this guy and he has already had CBM experience which would help him. In almost all of his films Wright has displayed perfect balance of comedy and action. In Shaun Of The Dead not only did he provide excellent comedy, this did not affect the action and the overall product was magnificent. This makes me believe Wright could be the right man for Deadpool.

4.Guy Ritchie

Films:
Sherlock Holmes
Rock N Rolla
Snatch

Ritchie most recent film Sherlock Holmes was a perfect example of the balance of comedy and action needed for Deadpool. Although Sherlock wasn't great, it certainly wasn't bad, Ritchie's direction was spot on and I think he could really be a great pick for Deadpool.

3.Robert Rodriguez

Films:
Sin City
Spy Kids
Machete

Most people are probably saying "Hey Man Why Haven't You Got Him As First!!". Let me explain. Rodriguez is a genius and a fantastic director. And may be perfect for Deadpool. But I think that Deadpool needs a fresh direction. Rodriguez has basically done the action and gore genre and I feel that a different director could really be a breath of fresh. Also Rodriguez probably wouldn't have the time to do it as he has so many other projects in the pipeline that is unlikely that Deadpool could consume all of his time with all other his other projects.

2.Quentin Tarantino

Films:
Inglorious
Pulp Fiction
Kill Bill 1 & 2

Tarantino is my dream director for Deadpool but I think everyone's knows their is no chance that he will helm it. Its a shame because he is so damn perfect for it but he has stated that he only does projects which he thought of so I guess that rules him out.

1.Ruben Fleischer

Films:
Zombieland

You may be seeing Who? But this guy has serious talent. Zombieland is one of my favourite movies ever and after the writers from Zombieland were hired to make a Deadpool script (Which is fantastic btw), why not reunite the whole team and get Fleischer on board. Zombieland featured Action, Gore and Comedy. The perfect ingredients for a Deadpool movie. It makes sense, so why not? I also wanted an original pick as number one and not go for the fan Favourites all the time. Give Fleischer a chance at Deadpool and Deadpool could strike gold.

I would like to nominate Joe Carnahan, Director of A-Team and Smokin' Aces.

Both have great action scenes, especially Smokin' Aces with some dark comedy (Guy falls smackdab on a chainsaw right between his legs! o: ) I think Carnahan would definitely do a great job directing it.

I think either Edgar Wright or Matthew Vaughn are your best bet from the list above.
