With a 90% score on Rotten Tomatoes and a global haul of $325 million in less than two weeks of release, it's fair to say that things are looking good for Doctor Strange. A sequel being announced is inevitable, while the hero's future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe seems bright as Benedict Cumberbatch eyes a return in Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Infinity War over the next two years.

We've taken a look at what did and didn't work, the movie's best Easter Eggs, how it sets up the MCU's future, and some big unanswered questions, and now we want to know what you thought of Doctor Strange. You've probably already read both my review and RorMachine's, but what star rating do you think the latest Phase 3 release deserves now its finally in US theaters and you've seen it?

In the poll below, you can weigh in on exactly that, so be sure to do so and then let us know why you made that decision in the comments section. You never know who from Marvel may be watching...

@LeonardTheWise - It's still a wip, since there isn't enought footage.

the msg in the film worked more for me than the visual effects

Great popcorn movie with a few elements that exceed expectations - in other words, a typical MCU film.

The acting is absolutely great - thesps like Swinton and Cumberbatch could read the phonebook and it would make for a watchable film. But the supporting roles are all extremely well played, as well. Cumberbatch as Strange is going to be as iconic as Downey's Stark.

The effects were sensational - this is the rare film where 3D feels like more than just a money grab.

The story is pretty standard Marvel origin fare, but it works well.

Bottomline: this is hardly a groundbreaking film. But it does what it sets out to do extremely well. In other words, it's an MCU film. There's something to be said for consistently delivering what you promise.

@Clundgren - I fully believe that Marvel can get away with their formulaic archetype purely based off the fact that these movies are fun, which is what comic book movies should be. When I leave the theater after seeing these movies I want to go back and experience it all again.

A solid 3 out of 5 Star Effort.

Benedict Cumberbatch can finally but the misfires/failure to launches of "Imitation Games", "Star Trek" and others behind him. This is his star vehicle and he nailed it for me. If RDJ and Chris Evans and the rest of the original Avengers want to walk away or take some time off...I'm good with a Marvel MCU of Chris Pratt, Paul Rudd, Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Holland.

What always frustrates me is when you see so much you like, but just feel it gets the "light" treatment due to the umbrella under which it was birthed. Stephen Strange really wasn't the jerk he has the reputation to be in this version. Perhaps, making him too unlikeable would be a "Risk"...but that's what I mean when I say "light". We got the "light" Jerk Stephen Strange. I was ready to see more.

Again another Villian whose depth and arc is lying on a cutting room floor somewhere inside Marvel Studios. They tried a bit more this time, but still due to the nature of the Origin Story and short running time...there just isn't enough magic to conjure up another 5-10 minutes for Villian Exploration and it was a bummer.

Favorite Moment: Mystical Groundhog Day
Least Favorite Moment: Wong Laughing at the end (Oh you Mouse House! Keep'em Smiling)

Regardless...ready for a lot more of Doctor Strange and maybe more Freedom for the Good Doctor to distinguish himself from his cousins in the MCU.
