Hey everyone, after my Green Lantern Promo was met with such positive reviews I've been trying to think of something to do next. I made a "The Question" teaser poster recently, but I'm not sure if it's quite up to snuff. This leads me to my most recent work. I was watching the movie RED tonight and seeing Bruce Willis got me to thinking about bald actors that could play a good Skrull. Eventually I just settled on Bruce Willis himself, and I started to manip a picture of him into an ideal looking live action Skrull. This got an idea cooking in my head for a cool teaser poster if in fact the The Skrull do play a part in the Avengers come 2012.

I really ended up liking the final product, how about you guys?

@Dan - ya know what - that was exactley my problem with it too. It didnt end up quite as crisp in areas as I had wished. Which parts specifically do you notice the most problem with?

The main thing though is I wanted the face to fade back into space, if its too pronounced or vibrant in color it dominates the poster and makes other things very hard to see. Plus it adds to that sense of mystery. All things a graphic artist has to be paying attention to.

@Dan - also, if you dont mind my asking, what is it exactley that you cant tell what you're looking at? There are only three elements essentially. The face, the ships and earth? Can you be more specific?

i think he means its hard to tell what youre talking about unless you are a marvel fan.

If that is supposed to be a phil coulson thing, i say make half his face human the other half skrull.
That would clear things up alot more and make alot more sense in what you mean.

Honestly it was hard to tell it was a face for the longest time, and the ships just kinda melted in with it... I understand it shouldn't be TOO pronounced, but it does need to be pronounced enough.

@Rhoki - It isnt necessarily a Phil Coulson thing just a Skrull thing in general.

@Dan - I gotcha, thanks dude! I'll clean it up tomorrow if I get the chance. See who said constructive criticism had to be bad? Haha. I've been doin' this for like 4 - 5 years now and I know I'm not the best yet, but I like to think that I'm decent, and every little bit of help counts :)

P.S. If you're viewing from an iPhone the brightness is severly decreased on photos and just now I'm looking at it on my iPhone and have no clue what it is. It's probably just a general brightness issue that I'll clear up tomorrow, thanks again though.
