Batman - Fan Cast

My first Fan Cast, and also the first in a series of Fan Casts I'm doing leading up to a Justice League movie.

Alright, my first Fan Cast, these are going to be movies I would like to see with a Cast I'd want to see in them. Firstly in my DC Universe, Batman is my choice to kickoff my Film Series. Also haven't figured out how to upload images yet so sorry for the lack of them.

FAN CAST

Bruce Wayne/Batman - Ian Somerhalder (Lost, The Vampire Diaries)
I originally was going to cast an older actor as Batman to give him a mentor sortof vibe for the other Heroes, but I finally decided to go younger in order to show a quite vulnerable side to Bruce to show that he needs Alfred and Jim Gordon. I went with Ian Somerhalder because I believe he is a good actor, and in Smallville he was Adam Knight, who was Smallville's version of Bruce Wayne.

Vicki Vale - Olivia Wilde (House, Tron: Legacy)
In this I imagine Vale to be like Lois Lane, but more ruthless to get the story she wants, and for the most part I'd have her investigating the true identity of Batman, but Bruce running interference having bought the newspaper company to show off the Bruce Wayne persona.

The Joker - Adrian Brody (The Pianist, King Kong)
I picked Adrian Brody because he was up for the role before Heath Ledger got it, and he also looks quite abit like the comic book Joker, and he is also the youngest ever actor to win an Academy Award for Best Actor.

Commissioner Jim Gordon - Mel Gibson (Lethal Weapon, Braveheart)
I got to owe this one to InSpace with this pick, I was having trouble casting this one and was blown away when I saw his pick and its stuck with me, and can't imagine anyone else for the role (except for Gary Oldman ofcourse).

Dr. Thomas Elliot/Hush - Ewan McGregor (Moulin Rouge!, Angels & Demons)
I actually put alot of time and thought into casting this part, as he is one of my favourite comic book villains, and I eventually ended upon Ewan McGregor as he is simply put an incredible actor who can own any role you put in front of him.

Dr. Victor Fries - Jackie Earle Haley (Watchmen, A Nightmare on Elm Street)
The reason behind having Fries in this without him being Mr Freeze is to have him ready for a possible sequel or somewhere down the line. I picked Haley because he is just perfect to be Mr Freeze in my eyes.

Alfred Pennyworth - John Cleese (Harry Potter, Shrek)
You need to have a brilliant British actor to be Alfred and who better than Basil Fawlty himself. Plus Fable III, in which he voiced Jeeves just cemented it.

Carmine Falcone - (???)
I actually have no idea on who to play him and I wanted a mob war involved somehow, so suggestions are welcome on this part.

Harvey Bullock - Michael Chiklis (The Shield, Fantastic Four)
I picked him just because of his performances of the TV show The Shield.

you should probably think about posting some pictures on this article to help us visualise each of the characters, seems like a pretty decent cast, I like your Freeze, Bullock and Vale picks (although I also think Wilde as Catwoman would be amazing).
Good first cast dude, keep 'em coming ;D

adam knight was nothing like bruce wayne besides having some similar skills, he was never meant to be a younger wayne that was just pure fan speculation but anyways i like the cast although personally somerhalder would be a great nightwing but he's a cool pick for bruce wayne. i like rest of the cast too but shouldnt hush be some one a bit closer to somerhalder age i mean there meant to be childhood friends but i guess it could work, great first cast.

you should find out how to do the pictures because a lot of people will bitch about it

@Hamm oh really i had no idea. wait so they couldnt use a young bruce coz of batman begins really. let me guess they didnt people thinking nolans version had any tie with smallville. damn that would have been pretty cool. adam knight was alright. and nice to know we do agree on something such as the age difference between mcgregor and that the guy rules lol

@Hamm3rtym3 thanks man, ill make sure i use that for my next fan cast.

@Tony13175 I quite like the idea of Harvey Keitel as Carmine Falcone, but don't like the idea of Terrence Stamp, probably cause I've watched Smallville too much lol

Kingsupes173 - go to your members area (that sounded dirtier than expected) or just click "editors tools" on the black banner up at the top. Go to your articles and you will see two icons near the article link, one is a bin to delete it and the other opens up the editing page. This is the same as the "new article" page but it has your work already written in there. Hope that makes sense!

All you need to do is find some pictures of the actors/characters you want on Photobucket (you may want to open an account, it's free, and you can save pictures into folders to make future projects easier) and copy and paste the code into your article.

If you still have trouble let me know, I'm a little rushed right now so hope this all makes sense to you.
