This was a great review of both. I've always been a big fan of both characters...little more for Batman but Spider-Man was one of the marvel characters I actually followed.

Spider-Man would of course win. This was never a contest. All of Batman's weapons/gadgets are useless against Spider-Man. The only way Batman can possibly put up a great fight against Spidey is if he were to get bit by a radioactive bat, lol. Imagine something like...MAN-BAT versus Spidey ;D

Spider-Man would still win though i'm sure based on the fact he has the proportionate strength of a spider. BUT this would still be a far more fair fight.

@BatmanIsBaddest That scene is BS. How do you perform a judo flip on a guy who can fly, and, if Batman could, why was Superman hurt at all? The animators got stupid right there.

I think it would end in a draw...seriously, I think right off the bat Batman would set something up that if he couldn't beat spider-man it would take both of them out. But Spidey's web blinding trick wouldn't work since Batman has sonar vision and can see soundwaves, so then it sort of becomes a question of can Spider-Man beat daredevil since with that piece of technology Batman would be DD'd equal in the DC universe...again either Batman wins or he'll blow the both of them up...

Spider-Man would win no prob. i wish he didn't use the movie versions. nolan's batman couldn't move his neck to see spider-man swing by.

Batman all the way...No matter which version of Batman it is [Comic, film, cartoon or novel], he always plans ahead or finds a way to use the environment to his advantage, the only time Parker ever seems to try to plan ahead is when dealing with Venom, Carnage or The Lizard....that and Batman would probably just gas him or render him unconscious some other way since for some odd reason Spider-Man seems pretty prone to getting himself knocked out.

If Batman can take a punch from Bane or Killer Croc then I think he could take Spider-Man. Batman is no ordinary human he is the Greatest Detective so I think he can find a way to take Spidey.

^Exactly! Batman has a number of super-powered enemies and he always kicks their asses. So, I'm supposed to believe that just because Spidey has powers and Batman doesn't that Spidey automatically wins? Bullshit. I'm not trying to sound like one of those Batman fans that thinks he can beat any person he is faced with, but I do believe that he can beat Spider-Man. 'Nuff said.
