Due to seeing Michael Fassbender, Olivia Wilde, and Zoe Saldana in seemingly every fancast that calls for a leading man or woman and seeing the likes of Chris Evans and Ryan Reynolds in multiple comic roles, I have set out to try making a fancast with actors and actresses who have no previous comic movie roles in their acting career.
Superman
Jared Padalecki
Jared is a good actor with the build and look that could make a great Superman. He is at a good age to be capable of holding down a series of movies and has the presence that would make him a believable leader of the greatest collection of superheroes.
Batman
Jai Courtney
Jai is a good up and coming actor. He has the looks and charm to pull off the billionaire playboy persona of Bruce Wayne, and also has the build, screen presence and action movie experience to be an awesome Batman.
Wonder Woman
Julia Voth
Julia is beautiful and a good actress. She has experience working in action movies. With a tan and a little bit of working out to firm and tone she is perfect for the part.
The Flash (Wally West)
Alex Pettyfer
Alex has that cocky, youthful charm that I think works great for my favorite incarnation of the Flash(Wally West) A solid actor who could provide a little comic relief to the team while also being believable as a hero.
Green Lantern(Hal Jordan)
Liam Hemsworth
A solid actor who has the youth that he can play the part in numerous JL and solo films as well as the presence to make the role his own. He is a little younger than most of the cast, but like my choice for the Flash, his youth fits the part. Youthful, cockiness and attitude would make a great GL onscreen.
Aquaman
Eric Christian Olsen
A really good underrated actor. While known mostly for comedic parts, he has shown an ability to play serious while on NCIS LA. Has the look and ability to bring Aquaman to life
Supporting Characters
Lois Lane - Alison Brie
Beautiful talented and capable of being classy and sexy while also having the spunky quality needed in Lois Lane
Dick Grayson - Ezra Miller
I like the idea of a more mature Dick Grayson nearing the time of leaving Robin behing and becoming Nightwing as opposed to the young kid version. Ezra Miller is one of the best young actors working and would be a great Dick Grayson. The plan would be to introduce him in JL and maybe a solo Batman movie and then spinoff into a Nightwing movie.
Villains
Lex Luthor - Timothy Olyphant
A great actor. Watch Justified if you don't believe me. Has the ability to be both charming and sleazy at the same time, which i think is perfect for Lex. His style and acting could finally get us a non-campy version of Lex Luthor and get us the serious great character he is.
