So, here's something that I don't ever recall showing up in the fan fic section before (which is sort of surprising...)
As soon as I heard about the Marvel Universe figures, I got excited, because I have always been a fan of that particular scale, but I realized that for the most part, I would be let down by the fact that the majority of my favorite characters wouldn't get made for quite some time, which is why I started customizing again (after a four year gap due to lack of motivation.)
Below are a few selected customs on the Marvel Universe scale.

U.S.Agent
"Making Of" It started off as a Marvel Universe Ultimate Captain America. I sanded the "A" off his forehead, as well as those pesky glove and boot pouches. I then sculpted on head-wings, chest-stripes, and glove flair-out-things (I made them look like 616 Cap's gloves, whatever the word for that is) using Plummer's epoxy putty. I painted it and sealed it with matte acrylic spray.
Dr. Michael Morbius "Making Of" The base figure is Marvel Universe "Warpath." I clipped off his bracelets as well as his belt, then built up his collar and facial features (nose, facial hair, pointed ears, etc...) with epoxy putty. Painted, Sealed, Done.
Jack Russell "Making Of" This particular version of Jack is based on his appearance from "Marvel Zombies 4", so he may look a little different than the way you usually see him. The base figure is a Wehr-Wolf (their spelling, not mine) figure from the "Prince Caspian" series. I clipped off his tail and sculpted clothes on over him with epoxy putty. The belt is from some generic G.I.Joe backpack. Painted, Sealed, Done.
Frank Castle "Making Of" This Frank Castle is actually Frank from the current "Franken Castle" storyline in which his dismembered corpse is resurected by Michael Morbius. I took the Marvel Universe Punisher, cut him up with an exacto knife, then added all the mechanical bits from epoxy putty. The straps are generic G.I.Joe backpack bits, and the chest tube was just something I had laying around. Do I really have to keep saying that I painted and sealed them? Oh, I don't? Okay. Terrific.
Daimon Hellstrom "Making Of" Hellstrom is based on his appearance in "Marvel Zombies 4", and was made from a Marvel Universe Namor figure (the widely released one... I wasn't crazy enough to mess around with my exclusive Invaders box set figure...) I covered him with epoxy putty to build up his robe, and made the lower section of the robe from a plastic garbage bag (because I hate dealing with cloth.) The trident was made from Moon Knight's staff and two pieces of Namor's wildly overdone trident (though you can't really see it in the picture.) Yes, I am aware that his chest-pentagram is upside down on the figure, but I was doing it from memory and I've yet to fix it.
The Blazing Skull "Making Of" Blazing Skull was once a Super Hero Showdown Ghost Rider figure, but the one I had didn't come with a bike, so I thought it was sort of pointless for him to actually be "Ghost
Rider" (well, that plus the fact that his right arm had disappeared to God-Knows-Where, and I had to resculpt it using a spare micronaut arm)...so I made him into Blazing Skull to flesh out (hah) my Invaders collection. Basically, I just shaved off all of the spikes and used epoxy putty to smooth out the jacket front so I could scupt on the cross-bones.
Adam Warlock "Making Of" Adam Warlock was originally "The Doctor" or Rex, or whoever from the G.I.Joe: Rise of Cobra toy line (arguably the only halfway decent thing to come from the movie, but even then, only to an extent...) I perminantly glued the figure's "wig" on and resculpted the entire body with epoxy putty. The crotch-cloth is a piece of old jedi robe I found somewhere.
Well, that's it for now.
I have a few more finished that I haven't photographed yet, like Puck, Man-Thing, Ghost, and The Shroud, as well as some unfinished figures that I hope to knock out sometime soon.
