Possible directors for Daredevil
David Fincher- My personal choice. I mean he’s probably the best suited of all of these directors. His gritty plots and sordid characters are so memorable. Basically he should do se7en with red tights.
Darren Aronfsky- He was my original choice, but now that he’s doing wolverine, I think he should only stick to one super-hero. He has the in your face hardcore atmosphere someone like daredevil needs.
Robert Rodriguez- He did a great job with Sin City and he could probably do an equally dark and great.
Alex Proyas-He has such a good style of filmmaking. The crow was only ok, in my opinion, but it had such an amazing look and feel to it that reminded me of Frank Miller.
Martin Scorsese- This is just wishful thinking. He knows how to tell mob stories centered on a city, which is basically, daredevil.
Writers
Story by David S. Goyer-BRILLIANT job with the Batman reboot! He understands how make larger than life characters into realistic, grounded works of cinematic art.
Screenplay by Aaron Sorkin- The dialogue in the social network was so fast paced and original that I would love to see his stamp on this comic book character.
Music by Clint Mansell- He is much underrated and has done great job with Darren Aronfsky’s films. He does great techno, almost psychological themes and could do amazingly beautiful compositions for each characters of a film.
Cinematography by Darius Khondji- his beautiful shots with the movies Se7en, Panic Room and Funny games are so gritty and dark. Perfect for a daredevil film
The Cast for Daredevil
Battlin Jack Murdock- Bruce Willis
He seems like a great fit for the matt’s father. He has that aged prizefighter look to him. He is a great actor and would make for a good opening cameo.
Karen Page-Michelle Williams
I feel as though Michelle Williams could play her because she is a very diverse young beautiful actress. She has a look to her that seems like she could play sweet and innocent while having secrets that could tear Daredevil apart.
Foggy Nelson-Jonah Hill
I don’t care what anyone says he’s a great young actor and has the comedic talent that could be great in a very dark movie like daredevil.
Ben Urich- Bryan Cranston
He is so talented dark in breaking bad while being hilarious and innocent in Malcolm in the middle. Take part of that darkness and some of that innocence and you have a great helping hand in daredevil’s quest for redemption.
Stick- Ken Watanabe
He’s the yoda of the movie. Originally I wanted David Carradine but seeing as how he’s …I thought Ken Watanabe would make a great teacher role. He’s tough, cool and would make for a great badass teacher.
Elektra- Olga Kurylenko
I honestly couldn’t think of one for this character. I saw her in another fan-cast and thought she had a great look to her that said “don’t f**k with me!” on that basis alone I’m casting her as Elektra.
Bullseye-Vincent Cassel
Look at his eyes and say that isn’t bullseye. He is an amazing actor like in La Haine, Eastern Promises and Black Swan. He would so own the role. Plus he’s actually very agile as seen in Ocean’s twelve.
Kingpin- Vincent D’Onofrio
He is a great, underrated actor. He’s tall, has a great strong voice and would probably be willing to put on weight if the role calls for it.
Daredevil- Jake Gyllenhal
He is an extraordinary actor for his age. He has the look and he looks like he would be willing to bulk up and learn some acrobatics for the role. His name has been thrown around for various other roles in super hero films. But he would be great as Matt Murdock. Give him red hair, sunglasses, a cane and there you go. Daredevil is born.
