DC - FAN FIC - JLA: REBELLION PART 1

This is my first fan fic... So please feel free to give criticism whether it is good or bad.

JLA - REBELLION

CENTRAL CITY

The story opens with Barry Allen, a resident of Central City, walking down the street past a TV shop. The screens inside the window show Lex Luthor winning a landslide vote and becoming the President of the United States, a crowd of people gathered around the window talking about he will change the lives of everyone in the country, how he has already powered up the military with new weapons and defences to protect them from 'alien' forces. the story changes to a update, with a newscaster stating "the criminal known as 'The Bat' has been attacking Lexcorp factory's again, this is the 4th attack this month".

Barry stops and stares at the news "... what crap" he then moves on into the city and disappears into the crowd.

GOTHAM CITY - WAYNE INDUSTRIES

Lift doors open and Bruce Wayne walks out the doors into the boardroom. Surrounding the table are all the board members. Wayne sits down at the head of the table, all the members are looking away and down, until one speaks up.

Garrson "Stocks are down Mr Wayne, this company is losing money and crumbling fast. another month or so and we will be shut down for good"

Wayne "I see... Is there anyway.."

Garrson "No, Mr Wayne you are pouring funds into a project that has no approval or any involvement from any board members.. Bruce, what are you hiding from us?"

Wayne "Gentlemen, I just need your complete faith I can still.."

Garrson "I'm sorry, but no... What ever it is you have single handedly pull your fathers company into the ground. we are out Mr Wayne. You have a month to clear out and finish whatever it is you are working on."

All the board members stand up and leave. Leaving Bruce sitting alone in the board room, his office phone lights up, Lucius Fox is calling.

Lucius "Mr Wayne, he's coming to. Me and Silas have been working through the night... Its working"

Wayne "I'll be down soon"

Wayne turns away from the table, stands and walks towards the window, looking down over his once great empire. He looks down as he see's all the employees leaving Wayne industries for the final time. as he looks up into the sky, he thinks "It will be worth it, for what is to come, for the greater good... the good of the world" as he looks at a Luthor blimp.

WASHINGTON DC - THE PENTAGON

General Sam Lane, is standing in an observation room surrounded by a load of scientists, as they work away Lex Luthor walks into the room.

General Lane "Mr President"

Lane turns to see Lex Luthor standing with an entourage of Guards.

Lex "So General, any advancements. I would hate to see the good public's money go to waste?"

General Lane "No sir, everything is going ahead as planned. it took a while to get any headway. But we have made significant advancements on our defences thanks to the information we have gained from subject G's technology"

Lex "Good work General.. Now if only there was some way you could sort out the slander your daughter writes about me. Or is that something I should take care of myself"

General Lane "No sir, I shall speak to her"

Lex "See to it..."

Luthor walks over through the observation room towards the glass panel, looking down he see's a group of scientist conducting experiments on a body . Abin Sur is lying on the operating table dead and dissected, the scientists have removed the ring and are trying to unlock its potential. The battery lies in a chamber in the side of the room having its energy drawn out and powering the entire building, the entire city. Lex Luthor looks down over this and smiles.

CENTRAL CITY

Barry Allen is walking down the street, in the distance he hears gunshots and sirens. He turns to make a move towards the commotion, but stops himself. He thinks to himself "I can't risk it" he closes his eyes and turns back around to the way he was walking "what's the point, I'll just get labelled a freak like that Bat guy, just gotta keep my head down" he turns a corner into a deserted alley and in the blink of an eye he is gone... away from it all.

GOTHAM CITY - WAYNE INDUSTRIES

Bruce Wayne enters into a room full of computers and generators.

Wayne "Lucius, Silas. What's Happening?"

at the end of the room in front of a chamber, Lucius Fox and Silas Stone stand there with panic and excitement on their faces. Silas steps forward.

Silas "Well Mr Wayne, I think you better see for yourself... Its my son its working"

Bruce walks forward and the chamber opens, steam fills the room as Bruce, Fox and Silas guard there faces. All three men are standing awestruck with what is before them. Victor Stone AKA Cyborg is in the chamber before them, with his body completely covered in prosthetic limbs made from the the most advanced technology.

Bruce Wayne turns to Lucius and Silas.

Wayne "Gentlemen, we can finally start"
