Begins with Ares in a gladiator arena fighting a large group of armed opponents (and maybe he can beat up a bear with his bare hand, this establishes that he is one badass mo****f*cker), he wins and is taken back to a prison. Then guards come to say that his father has summoned him. Zeus has called Ares to find out if he has a daughter living in Themyscira that Hippolyta is the mother of Zeus is angry and demands that he finds her now. He says to Ares “Earth has 2 extra-dimensions, ours the Olympians and that of the Amazonians. If you bring me my daughter I will give you your own dimension. One of chaos and war.” Ares responds “It sounds like we have a deal. Dead or alive?” Zues tells him alive to which Ares says “Pity.” Before walking out.
Diana is being trained to fight whilst Hippolyta watches on. She beats her trainer in a sword fight and then goes over to her mother who says “You have become one of the greatest warriors I have ever seen, a true Amazon, I’m so proud of you.” Diana looks at her and says “My teacher says that he has never seen anyone like me since the Olympian God’s were at the height of their powers.” Hippolyta says that she is very impressed but Diana says “Mother, is my father one of them?” to which Hippolyta doesn’t reply. Then they hear screams and crashes so Diana flies to their source to find a group of Olympians attacking the city. She flies into the middle with a sword and shield and begins to engage the group. She kills some but sustains many injuries before Ares steps forward to fight her, saying “Hello sister.” After some fighting she asks who he is and he tells her “I am Ares, the god of war and I am your brother.” With this he uses a shield bash to knock her sword away, then to hit her in the face, before he hits her to the ground where his troops capture her.
Diana is brought before Zeus, tied up and surrounded by guards. Zeus tells them off for treating her so badly and has her untied. He behaves in a friendly way to Diana and tells her that he is her father and that her mother refused to let him see her. He says that he needs her help to restore Olympia to its former glory. This is when Ares is also enters, brought in like Diana was and struggling. He asks Zeus “What is the meaning of this? I did as you commanded, now give me what I was promised!” Zeus walks up to him and looks him in the eye “You have no further use to me. You have always been a disappointment. I have my daughter now to herald in a new era for Olympia, you will die with the old one.” Ares then breaks free of his restraints and proceeds to kill the guards. Zeus goes to fetch his lightning bolt but as he lays his hand on it so does Ares. As they struggle for it a portal opens and swallows Ares.
A messenger tells Zeus that the Amazons are attacking the gates of Olympia. Zeus shouts at him “They will not take her from me, I will go to the gates and kill them myself.” Then turns to Diana “They will not find you.” Firing his lightning bolt at her. He then opens a door to a secret room that looks like a temple and shouts “SHAZAM!” and the Wizard Shazam appears. Zeus asks him to assist the Olympians but the Wizard tells him that he has more pressing matters concerning a boy named Billy Batson. (Yes I’m teasing Captain Marvel/Shazam, imagine how exciting it would be to have this great big Easter egg shoved in your face.) Zeus walks out and destroys a statue in anger.
We then see the scene from my Batman vs Superman:
http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/Guido/news/?a=94067 where Wonder Woman flies out of a portal. It is from her perspective and we see her shock at the carnage below. She is hovering in the sky when out of the clouds comes a fighter jet, the pilot shouts down the radio “I’m about to hit something!” before crashing into Diana. The jet’s wing breaks off and it plummets towards the ground although Diana flies down and catches it, then lays it on the ground. She pulls the pilot out to and takes his helmet off. He looks terrified but she asks him questions “Is this Earth? What happened to that city? Who are you?” He tells her that this is Earth; that Superman and Batman had a battle with a monster; and that he works for the American Airforce and is called Steve Trevor. She asks “Who are Superman and Batman, are they gods?” Steve says “It’s hard to explain but no, I don’t think they are.” She asks for his help and tells him who she is.
Wonder Woman is waiting in Steve’s apartment looking at things like a toaster and being amazed (well, I don’t know, it needs some funny parts). He comes back with some shopping and they have some food. Steve tell Diana that he has bought her some clothes so she will be less conspicuous. He fetches them for her and as he comes back into the room with some bags a portal opens up and sucks her in.
This is getting quite long so from now on it will be more of a summary:
Wonder Woman arrives back in Themyscira which is in ruins. She speaks to Hippolyta who tells her she is sorry but Diana says that it’s ok. She is told that Olympia is a pile of rubble now but the Olympian army is still strong. They continue the battle until there are only a few left. Diana sees Zeus kill Hippolyta and then she fights Zeus and stabs him through the chest. He falls to the ground and both his lightning bolt and body disappear. What remains of the Olympian and Amazonian people stop fighting to return home and bury their dead.
We see Zeus’ lightning bolt appear in the Wizard Shazam’s hand. Another Amazonian asks Diana if she is going back home but she says that Themyscira is no longer her home now her mother is dead. Next scene is her arriving at Steve Trevor’s apartment and asking if she could stay for a while. Cuts to Ares standing on the balcony of a castle telling an army of soldiers and monsters that he has become the most powerful being in existence fuelled by the war and how he created his own dimension. Final scene: we see Brainiac in a space ship orbiting Earth taking control of satellites sending them crashing towards Earth. A news report shows Superman catching satellites and Batman blowing them up. Wonder Woman sees this and says to Steve “Looks like they could do with a hand” and flies off.
