FAN SCRIPT: KENOBI - WAKE OF A NEW DAWN (INTRODUCTORY)

Many have jabbed against the subordinate probabilities of a swarm of characters - and like the brisk of a bothersome annoyance - I present to you all a snippet of the Kenobi screenplay authored by yours truly.

INTRODUCTORY SEQUENCE (TEN PAGES):
The desideratums expressed below are to be applicable towards the script when reading (if desired) . Though they are not deemed as a necessity, the propositions below are merely fantasies and are to be remained as such. Introductory is about ten pages long. Feedback will be very much appreciated.

TONE: The tone of the screenplay conveyed forth is going to be utilized as a prospect in which enhances focus towards the story of an elder, anguished Knight in which receded from any act of combat in order to pursue a life of tranquility but is then forced back towards the frays of a Jedi Knight when confronted by an Inquisitor (think 'Jeremiah Johnson' meets 'Unforgiven' in space). The tone is not going to be of an average sci-fi film, but it is going to be more of a convergence of art house and lively profundity.

CASTING:
The casting is merely a preference of mine, all have a right to view such story however as they desire. Characters with dialogue. In accordance to appearance.

KENOBI: EWAN MCGREGOR (others considered: James McAvoy)
ZICKS: Unknown (others considered: none)
QUI-GON JINN (NETHERWORLD): LIAM NEESON (others considered: none)

I like the idea. But there are some things I have to point out: I don't remember any Star Wars using words like "shit". I don't have any problem with it, but when reading this, it was kind of hard to picture this in the Star Wars universe.

Also I don't remember Bullets ever being used in Star Wars, although there is a possibility that it was used in a book or Graphic Novel that I haven't read yet. But I always assumed based off what I've read, and seen, they always used Blaster Bolts in Star Wars.

But I'll say this though, the Dialogue was really good, especially the sequence with Qui Gon and Obi Wan. And the descriptions made everything easier to picture.

It's a solid Start to you're script. I hope to be able to read more.

Appreciate the feedback, man. I was sort of hesitating in also using such words within the Star Wars Universe, but in order to build a galaxy that is so alienated with ours, we need to also incorporate certain aspects of our world in order to gain some sort of connection with the galaxy far, far away, in my humble opinion.

I believe I recall there was only one measly scene in 'A New Hope' where a tusken raider has wielded a rifle in which spewed bullets as well. Although, I may be wrong that the ammunition being spewed was - in fact - bullets.

Again, I greatly appreciated the time you have implemented to read the script and the feedback posted. Means so much. Thank you.

I understand the reasoning. While writing the second episode my Star Wars Fan Fiction: "The Star Rider", I've been trying to incorporate the theme of Racism that exists in our world to the Star Wars universe.

So I completely can relate to what you're trying to accomplish.

I'll have to do some research about Bullets in the Star Wars universe, but I've never really seen such a thing.

Like I said before, I hope to see more, the Idea that you seem to have is different from the Book Entitled "Kenobi", but it's one that I could picture as a film nonetheless.

Vastly different. As a matter of fact, I have never heard of such book until one month ago when I was researching to draw further inspirations for the fan script, checked it out from the library, and found the novel to be quite astounding for a book in which was published under Del Rey's Star Wars brand. There are some minor aspects in which I noted to incorporate with the script and make it more 'original' rather than duplicate such sequences pertained towards the novel (i.e. Kenobi confronting Uncle Owen, duel against a Krayt Dragon), but I believe in order to pursue a Kenobi film under the Star Wars title, there needs to be some sort of 'Star Wars' in it (read: space adventure).

In a galaxy that eclipses very much the countenance of a post-apocalyptic universe, I very much doubt that the 'Obi-Wan' character would merely lie as a mere spectator towards the horrendous repugnance the Empire has conceived of for eighteen years, and solely restrict his indemnities with a strife against Tusken Raiders.

Nevertheless, the story is going to draw in minor aspects the 'Kenobi' novel has endeavored, but convey a greater conflict.
