Superman stood, stark still as he hovered above Earth's atmosphere. His arms were folded and his cape moved slowly about him, as if he were sitting in something thicker then water, yet actually was lighter then air itself.
In the distance he coulds see a star that didn't belong, and it was getting brighter, THIS was him. He could feel the vibrations of force hitting him as if it were sound, whatever it was that was charging towards the Earth was moving at an astonishing rate.
Superman, lowered his hands and gripped them to fists, bracing himself for anything. Then he could slowly tell that he was moving gradually at a steadied pace as he aproached. He could tell now using his tela-scopic vision that this indeed WAS him, the one that the planet in distress had called:"The Silver Surfer."
The name was NOT figurative, his body was clad in a metalic silver substance that seemed to actually be his flesh. He was well built, and roughly about his size, maybe taller. His body reflected the light of the distant sun as he moved towards Earth, standing stalk still on his board. His head was balded and shown like a mirror, (What was it with bald people being evil?). His eyes almost glowed and seemed peircing, yet lifeless. THe Surfer seemed to slow even more as he aproached, was he intimadated by him?
"Turn back." Superman said under his breath. "I CAN NOT." he suddenly heard as if there was an echo in space. Recovering from the momentary surprise, Superman now spoke out loud, knowing he could be heard at that distance. "TURN, BACK, NOW!" He said.
"I CANNOT BE HINDERED." The Surfer boomed across the galaxy, "GO BACK TO YOUR OWN WORLD FROM WENCE YOU CAME. MY FIGHT IS NOT WITH YOU."
"MY World, is dead." Superman said narrowing his eyes, "And you will NOT destroy this one in your lust for power!!!"
"IT IS NOT 'MY' LUST WHICH DRAWS ME NYE. FOR YOUR OWN SAKE I SPAKE AGAIN, TURN BACK KRYPTONIAN."
Superman propelled himself slightly forward, towards his aproaching enemy. "For YOUR own sake, TURN AROUND AND LEAVE. Before I make you pay for all the other worlds you've stollen life from!"
The Surfer stopped, about half a mile from Superman. "My Master's word is LAW."
He said, making no expression at all. "HIS HUNGER CANNOT BE PASSIFIED. MOVE ASIDE OR AWAIT THE AFTERMATH."
Superman's eyes burned like two infurno's, The surfer's mouth and eyes shown as if a sun was behind them, "VERY WELL KRYPTONIAN. "YOU" HAVE DECIDED YOUR FATE!"
