@jazzman Oh, she is very pretty and is stacked for the part. :)

That was really well done! It felt like a movie trailer from back in the day. And yes, I would gladly be Lynda Carters dude in distress. She was absolutely beautiful.

Linda Carter was an awesome WW, and still beautiful today. A total class act.

Danielle Panabaker for Wonder Woman!

It's hard to find another Wonder Woman after Linda Carter. Grew up watching her show. I had to look up Danielle Panabaker but at 5'6" and not even close to looking like Wonder Woman, it's like....huh?

I would like to see an actress with a tall, athletic stature and more of Greek descent or similar as far as looks go. it's actually tough to even think about who to cast when we have no idea what age range and storyline they would want to do for the part.

One of the best WONDER WOMAN pictures of all time. A classic.
Found this and I have to say It's pretty good. Not bad at all.

Hey guys I'm a new member to CBM but have been enjoying the content and colorful commentary for the past month or so. It's a damn nice site so kudos ;oD I would love to see a WW live action film during my lifetime and I think it's long overdue. I think Erica Cerra from the Syfy show Eureka has WW look down and she's not that bad of an actress
Erica Cerra

Ranger14 - 5/12/2010, 10:47 PM
Robotix, she would be good if she weren't so petite at 5'4" tall. Not the tall statuesque frame you want for Wonder Woman.

I don't mean disrespect my friend, but those Lynda Carter years make me cringe (Don't get me started with the Granny panties! What were they thinking???).
The music was good as well as the voice over dialogue. The cut away scenes were well paced but it looked sooo cheesy 70's.
I got dreams, bro. I got dreams...

Wonder Woman deserves so much. I just won't be satisfied until they give her a treatment akin to the gore and surrealistic photography in 300 for ancient Themyscira, and the epic feel of a Braveheart or Gladiator. I'm sure Branagh will accurately capture that fish out of water scenario with Thor, in which case, would provide a model for WW. Oh, and if she fights anywhere as well as Scarlett Johansen (exculding weapons handling, of course) did in IM2. That would certainly sate some expectations.

Wonder Woman is probably the hardest character to cast. Supermodel looks and height, around mid 20s-30s, athletic physique and ability, and a good actor. Sure lots have the boobs and face, but those are the easy parts to fill. I really hope a Wonder Woman film gets made though. I love powerful women. ;)

Erica Cerra fits most of the face requirments. Yet, it would require a bit of FX to compensate for the legitimate concerns expressed by Ranger14.

Yikes! Is that a common pic? I mean, is that how she normally looks? Maybe she caught some bad light or ...jeez that is bad...

Angie Harmon or Cathrine Zeta-Jones were my pics, like a decade ago, unfortuneatly they're both too old.

Megan Gale is probably the best known casting still.

@ Ranger14
I wasn't aware she was that petite but I agree it would have to be a woman that just screams Amazonian and no I do not want Beyonce anywhere near a WW film project, she has a great body but zero acting skill.

@gtrman
haha! awww man you cut my Erica Cerra in two ways man, not her best picture ;op
Phinehas
Phinehas - 5/12/2010, 11:34 PM
For the love of flippin boobs she must be well represented. Well spoken, gtrman! I know exactly what you mean when you say, "because movie-trained martial arts don't fool me and look unnatural."

I hate to sound sexist, but most women can't throw a punch and make it look real. Not by virtue of having a vagina, but because they were never taught to do it, nor love the act. Boys, on the other hand, are thrust into beautiful hostility.

Welcome ROBOTIX, Nice Moon Knight avatar.
I think Morena Baccarin is perfect for Wonder Woman.

Hey @gtrman, How about Jensen Ackles or Ryan Reynolds for Wonder Woman?? Surprised you haven't posted that statement yet. LMAO!!!!!! ; )~

Megan Gale has the physique and look for Wonder Woman. I am just not familiar with her acting skills. She doesn't have much for acting experience. Just all her supermodel experience.

As I have mentioned on here before. I think there are some very capable Bollywood actresses that have the look and the acting skills to pull it off.

That was kinda cool, but just clips from the old series lol, was expecting something at the end! : D

Oh and =

Jodi Lyn O'Keefe or Lucy Griffiths as WONDER WOMAN!!!

Great edit! But, they need to stray away frail supermodels. Wonder Woman is an Amazon!!

ROBO @ Yeah welcome but nahhh lol, hey there was an article about her for WW from Multi a couple of months back!

Have a look, well if you can find it of course!
jazzman

@gtrman

Amanda Righetti high is not a issue if you saw her in the movie you think people would cry about her high. her high is not the same as Wonder Woman but its not a big deal anyway Amanda Righetti is 5'8½" thats good enough.

@Anil Rickly

i so agree with u

Just hope the director gets it right. (like they did with Robert D. Jr.) Wonder (no pun intended) when the WW movie's going to be.

Ranger14 - 5/13/2010, 7:51 AM
Jimdlux@ Someone like Megan Gale could easily put on a little muscle to her frame. Plenty of actresses have done that in the past. It would only take about 10 lbs of muscle for her. The lack of acting experience would worry me more there.

Lee@ I love Lucy Griffiths, but not sure she is right for Wonder Woman. 5'6" just doesn't quite get there for me for the stature of Wonder Woman and her look doesn't quite hit it for me.

Amanda Righetti has enough height (5'8" is as short as I would like to see), but her face just doesn't scream "Wonder Woman" to me.

Alright, if I've said it once I've said it twenty-three times, Gina Carrano for Wonder Woman. She's 5'8", got the athletic build and is more believable whooping any man's ass than the other names thrown around here...

Of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

While that is an excellent choice for build and fighting abilities, one major concern looms:
CAN
SHE
ACT???
Man, if she can't deliver a line, her boobs, face, fight skills, won't mean squat!

Hopefully gtrman doesn't provide a pic for her too where she uses Joker's Smylex.

"Love that Joker!"
