Int. Guardian Citadel-Night
The fabled Guardians of the Universe sit atop their citadel discussing current events before the arrival of the Queen.

We must come together, we cannot stand divided or we will fall.
appa
Yes Ganthet, but that is precisely why we need to have the universe believe in the corps; our cause. We cannot allow them to think we are obsolete.
GANTHET
They will believe in us Appa, but we need to increase our ranks. I propose doubling the corps, two rings per sector. No Lantern will be without back up when they need it.
sayd
Ganthet is right, an increase in our ranks would give us more of a presence throughout the cosmos. We need to prepare for what is coming.
APPA
And what do you think is coming Sayd?
Sayd sits uncomfortably knowing the others will dismiss her.
Sayd
An ancient enemy will rise again--
Appa cuts Sayd off.
APPA
The prophecy is nothing more then silly superstition. Our enemies look to destroy us, they will stop at nothing to weaken the corps. The prophecy is meant to induce fear into the corps as well as weaken the Lantern's resolve making them ineffective.
Sayd continues to sit disappointed Appa is so quick to dismiss her claims. She looks across the citadel to see Ganthet giving her a look of understanding. Ganthet believes her.
The Guardians continue to bicker as Green Lantern Salaak enters the citadel.
Salaak
Pardon me wise ones, but the Queen has arrived.
appa
Ganthet, go and meet the Queen. We will send for you when we are finished.
Ganthet heads out the citadel and heads to where the Queen awaits with her escort. Green Lantern Tomar-Re.

Ganthet arrives to greet the Queen.

GANTHET
As it is to see you too Queen Aga'po. What brings you to Oa?
aga'po
I have concerns about the future Ganthet, I seek the help of the Guardians for the coming events.
ganthet
Of What?
Queen Aga'po and Ganthet begin walking through Oa with Tomar-Re remaining close behind.
AGA'PO
Parallax.
GANTHET
Parallax is no more, he was destroyed.
AGA'PO
No Ganthet, merely wounded.
Ganthet can sense something uneasy about the Queen's words.
GANTHET
What has you so concerned that you would travel to Oa yourself?
Flashback: Narrated by Queen Aga'po
AGA'PO
When we settled on Zamaron we discovered ruins. The ruins were signs of a civilization before, but they were destroyed. On the outskirts of the cities were caves; caves that held the collective knowledge of that civilization. They knew what Parallax was, it's true nature.

AGA'PO
Parallax is something else. The drawings inside the caves suggest that Parallax was apart of an ancient race of creatures that have existed even before us. The caves also mention six other creatures may exist throughout the cosmos. These creatures are the living embodiment of all emotion in the universe.
GANTHET
That would explain why Krona fell to Parallax's influence so easily.
AGA'PO
Krona was short sighted, he was no match for Parallax.
GANTHET
What other Infromation were you able to obtain?
AGA'PO
The drawings claim each of these creatures and their power will be harnassed by others for a war of light; then all light will be extinguished when the blackest night falls.
GANTHET
The guardians must be made aware my Queen.
Ganthet, Queen Aga'po and Tomar-Re all begin to head towards the Guardian citadel.
int.Space Bar-night
Since the defeat of Parallax Sinestro has been taking on Abin Sur's old cases and is tracking down the Inversions.
The room goes silent, music stops as soon as Sinestro enters. Sinestro looks across the bar to see his informant and approaches his table.
sinestro
Silus, you don't look happy to see me.
silus(backing away)
Sin---Sinestro, what brings you here?
SINESTRO
Can't a Green Lantern enjoy a drink with his friend anymore?
Sinestro looks around the bar and notices everyone in the bar starring at him.
silus(fearfully)
People have heard what you've done, they think you murdered Qull.
SINESTRO
No Silus i merely left him for dead. Tell me what i want to know Silus.
Sinestro moves closer to Silus as he contiues to back away.
SILUS
Pl---please Sinestro don't hurt me.
SINESTRO
Give me what i want and i will be on my way Silus.
A waitress walks over to the table and carefully places a drink next to Sinestro's hand.
Waitress
It---It's on the house.
As the girl walks away Sinestro notices Silus starring at the bar's entrance. Sinestro looks over his shoulder and sees a small band of mercenaries entering the bar.
SILUS
I'm sorry Sinestro they forced me too.
SINESTRO
I'm surprised you had the gull to go through with it Silus.
The mercenaries take point on Sinestro all aiming their weapons at him. The mercs open fire as Sinestro's ring creates a barrier around him. Sinestro's barrier absorbs the blast as the mercs continue firing. Off in the distance Sinestro sees Silus leaving the bar. The mercs weapons jam and stop firing, Sinestro uses his barrier to create a shockwave crushing mercs against the bar and wall knocking out the mercs before heading after Silus.
ext.alien world-night-continuious.
Sinestro spots Silus as he heads for a starship. Sinestro begins chasing after him.
SILUS(screams)
Get Back Sinestro!!!
Sinestro is unwaivering in his pursuit. Once he reaches the starship another squad of mercs catch Sinestro off guard and open fire blasting him out the sky.

That's a Green Lantern!

Not just a Green Lantern, thats Sinestro of Korugar.

Should we leave him?
MERC # 2
Isn't there a bounty on him... or something?
Off in the distant Silus launches his starship. The mercs try to lift Sinestro but he responds with a giant Kilowog construct that smashes both mercs into the ground.
SINESTRO
Ring, what are power levels?
ring
Power levels at 23.2%
With great speed Sinestro flies after the starship.
SINESTRO
Ring, plot the trajectory of the starship.
ring
Plotting now.
Once his power ring knows the trajectory Sinestro positions himself in front of Silus starship. Once the starship gets in range Sinestro creates a barrier around it that begins crushing the ship, Silus is forced through the cockpit as the starship explodes in Sinestro's construct and begins to freefall.
Sinestro swoops down and catches Silus in chains.
SINESTRO
This could have been alot easier if you told me what i wanted to know Silus.
SILUS
Sinestro please, they threatened my family.
SINESTRO
Give me the location Silus.
SILUS
Ok, The homebase of the Inversions is on planet Ysmault.
SINESTRO
Now was that really that hard Silus?
SILUS
Please Sinestro, don't kill me like you killed Qull.
SINESTRO
I won't kill you Silus.
Sinestro begins to leave the planet after he lets go of Silus leaving him to fall to his death.
