How The Riddler Fits Into Batman 3

My opinion on how The Riddler will work and who will play him!

In The Dark Knight, the character Coleman Reese has a 'theory' about why Bruce Wayne is always tired when he shows up for meetings. Later after failing to blackmail Mr. Fox, his life is threatened by The Joker. Well blah blah blah you've all seen the movie. But what some of you didn't notice is that he is referred as "Mr.Reese"...think about it long and hard if you don't get it. Are you ready? MYSTERIES!!!

My guess is that Coleman Reese was secretly working for The Joker and was his protege, and now that Reese is aware of Bruce Wayne's alter ego and with Joker in prison, it gives Reese the opportunity to take the matter into his own hands.

So in conclusion, actor Joshua Harto will portray The Riddler.

Well this character could most certainly TIE INTO the Riddler...but I tend to side with Jawesome, HE won't be the Riddler and I think the name Mr.Reese is just his name. Christopher Nolan likes to lay groundwork but that's reaching a little too much. Could this guy end up selling his information TO the Riddler? Makes sense. Will this UNKNOWN guy BE the Riddler? No.Way.

I've actually heard this theory before and while it's a good one, I just don't think that's going to happen..From my understanding, Christopher Nolan was actually asked about this once and he said it was just a coincidence..was it? Yeah, most likely....

this is a good idea, but i dont think that they would have him discover batman's id before 1.the movie even begins, and 2.before he becomes the riddler

if Reese were the Joker's protege, then wouldn't he have told The Joker who Batman is when he found out?

good idea but i doubt Nolan will go away from the story of The Riddler which is that Edward Nigma is a genious who goes crazy and becomes a supervillian

I don't think Mr. Reese will play into it at all.
I think his name was just a foreshadowing to the next movie.
