Ideas for the Rebooted Batman Movie Universe

How I would form the new Batman movies after the Dark Knight Trilogy ends

The end of Christopher Nolan's Trilogy will ultimately bring a reboot of the Caped Crusader, so I thought I would share my ideal Batman reboot. If you guys like these idea I could write out each movie individually, as for now I am just covering basics.

My Batman movies would take place in a universe where other Superheroes are a reality. These movies would also bring the mystery and detective elements to the forefront, as I felt they weren't as heavily emphasized in Nolan's movies. I would also feature small fights with other villains (not big bad) to establish that the super villains don't just attack one by one or teamed together, like how most CBMs are.

Movie 1, The Caped Crusader: Batman has been protecting Gotham for about 7 years. He is on his second Robin, Jason Todd, with Dick Grayson appearing as Nightwing. The relationship between Bruce and Jason is a very cold one, with Jason all ways trying to gain Bruce's approval. Bruce Wayne's friends the Drakes and their 12 year old son Tim are introduced. Altercations with Joker, Clay Face, the appearance of Two-Face, and the implied romance between Bruce and Talia al Ghul is present. The Caped Crusader would feature Professor Pyg as the big bad. Before Pyg is defeated, Tim Drake's parents are made into failed Dollotrons.

Movie 2, The World's Greatest Detective: This takes place about a year and a half after movie 1. Jason is about 17. The Riddler is the big bad of this movie. This Riddler is similar to Jigsaw from the Saw movies, he places victims in intricate traps for Batman to save them. About half way through the movie, Jason is beaten and killed by the Joker. Batman hunts down Joker, and is the verge of killing him. Though of course Batman lets him live, knowing if he kills him, he will be no better than him. Batman is then forced to take down Riddler without a ward. Batman is sloppier without Robin, noting that since there is no Robin in danger to keep him on his toes, he is in more danger. This is showing just how crazy Batman is, that he feels he must have a young person in danger to keep him on his toes. After the defeat of the Riddler, Bruce Wayne is at the Manor. Alfred brings in a now orphaned Tim Drake. Tim tells Bruce he knows who he is, and wants to be the next Robin.

This ideally would move into a Robin solo film, basically the "Robin Begins" of the series. This movies would show why Tim feels Batman needs a Robin, and Dick Grayson's time as Robin. The movie would also show Tim, and his obsession with Batman after he defeated the murderer of his parents (Professor Pyg, see Movie 1). The big bad of this movie would be the mysterious Red Hood, a man killing crime lords to take control of Gotham's underworld. Red Hood seems to also be targeting Joker, Batman, and especially Robin. 3/4 through the movie it is revealed to the audience that Red Hood is a resurrected Jason Todd. When he returned to Gotham after being risen from the grave, the first thing he did was search out Bruce. That is when he found out Bruce not only replaced him, but acted much more like a father to Tim than he ever did with Jason.

Movie 3, A City of Bats and Birds: The Court of Owls has made its move against the Bat Family. As the current story of Court of Owls story hasn't finished yet, I haven't finished how I would want this movie to play out. I do know that this movie would feature the introduction of Batgirl, Stephanie Brown, and will end with Batman starting up Batman Incorporated.

After A City of Bats and Birds, Batman Incorporated would take over as the main Bat films. This way there is no need to reboot Batman again. These movies would feature the Bats of the world, with the likes of Batwing, Black Bat, and Knight n' Squire being the main focus of the movies

Very much a Fan Fic. I don't agree with this being the ideal reboot. Ideas are all over the place. Story is pretty convoluted. Villain choices are extremely laughable. Child's work. This is just... bad.

@3D this is my ideal reboot. Just something I think would be cool to see. Your ideal reboot may be just as bad to me as mine is to you. We just want to see different things.

Seems a little unfocused, but I do like the idea of Pyg killing the Drakes. The idea of villains popping up randomly could be disastrous if they aren't careful (Joker NEEDS the be the main villain in a movie about Jason Todd's death). My favorite thing about this though, is the idea to set the reboot up as being so far into Batman's career, he's on his 2nd Robin. Also like the idea of a "Robin Begins" simultaneously showing Dick and Tim coming up.

@Upgrayedd69

And that's totally fine. While I'm at this I do want to mention that Pyg killing the Drakes (as the user above pointed out) is a great idea. But that's it for me.

I like it, maybe add some casting ideas and something to add an aesthetic for us?

make a movie similar to the Arkham city style batman and you will have a great batman reboot. this does seem a little unfocused though... like starting out pretty far into the story line with the first film. this doesn't really seem much like a reboot but more like a continuation to the older batman films.

Dislike the first but the other two are cool.

The reason I dislike the first is I just don't like Pyg's character. But the premise is really cool and I'd love to see your 2nd film
