Justice League fan cast and plot idea

There have been a lot of these, so I figured I'd add mine \S/

This takes place in the Man of Steel universe, so the whole cast is returning. Original idea... No. But whatever, it was it is, I liked the movie and I'd love for it to connect, which it probably will.

Philip Winchester as Batman/Bruce Wayne: I've seen some of his stuff, I know he's been a popular pick for Aquaman, but I think there are better roles for Philip Winchester (Like Daredevil as well) and better acts to play Aquaman. Also he's tall, which I know is a big deal for you Mr. DDD, and he kind of has a Bat-chin.

Zachary Levi as Flash/Barry Allen: Yes he's a bit tall for the role, but if they can CGI Ralph Phinease nose off they can make Zachary not look so tall. Anyway, his role on Chuck is of course what made me think he'd fit Barry. Barry is the "Average Jo" of the JLA, he's not necessarily serious, but he's not a comedian either, he's just a normal smart guy. I think Zachary could make Barry lovable and a relatable character.

OR...

John Krasinski as Flash/Barry Allen. Everything a listed above but with a bit more confidence.

Armie Hammer as Green Lantern/Hal Jordan. I feel like this pick is going receive a little bit of backlash. I stand by it though, I've seen some of his work and I see him as Hal, not quite so witty as with Ryan Reynolds but not super (ha) serious. Hal would pretty much butt heads with everyone but Barry his best bud. I keep hearing that Armie is to much of a "Pretty boy" have you seen Heath Ledger? Heath Ledger WAS a pretty boy before being cast as Joker. Make up can do a lot for a person.

Idris Elba as Green Lantern/John Stewart. Now this I KNOW is not original. And I will probably get backlash, but whatever, don't fix what is not broke. Assuming JLA follows the tone of Man of Steel, how he would play John would fit the tone. Justice League needs a really strong well put together cast to top Avengers. Now, why two Green Lanterns? Honestly, I have no good reason, but lets use that as an aspect of the film, Hal and John can butt heads. John would mostly be in space during the movie, coming in at the end when he finds out what is going on.

Bridget Reagan as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince. Not super original, but she fits great! I used to watch Legend of the Seeker and she was really good in it so, why not? As for WW costume, I'd like her to start in her pre-new 52 one, maybe she can have the New 52 suit in JLA 2. On her powers, she should be able to go to toe-to-toe with Bats and Supes. She has combat skills, not quite as good as Batman, but good enough to hold her own, her super strength giving her the upper hand at least when they first meet and Batman doesn't know her limits. The same for Supes but reversed, she's not as strong as him but her combat skills give her the upper hand at least once.

Michael B. Jordan as Vic Stone. Vic is not really "Cyborg" in the movie, he does become Cyborg but he's not really a superhero yet, he's lost and confused by his new body and helps pretty much because he has to. Again not original, but oh well, he fits, I have no one else, if you guys have suggestions please tell me!

Ralph Fiennes as Lex Luthor morphed with Brainiac. Remember in Justice League Unlimited when Lex morphed with Brainiac? Yeah that was awesome. So let's do that again! I really thought that episodes was awesome, and it posed a big enough threat that could unite the JLA but not ripping off Avengers, Lex could fine the Brainiac tech in the rubble left in Supes vs. Zod's fight. He takes it and tries to rebuild it, Cadmus comes barging in, there is an explosion (that creates Cyborg) and boom the two are mixed. On Ralph, I've seen him cast as both characters, now he can play both.

Jon Glaser as G. Gordon Godfrey. I forgot to add him to the cast last night, so here he is! I saw Jon on Parks and Recreation, and his character is one annoying human being, like G. Gordon. Plus I have not seen anyone cast him as the character so at least its original. G. Gordon would spew hate about meta humans at the beginning of the film and then spew hate about the JLA forming a team, saying its a plan to over take humans.

Cameos from:
Jake Abel or Liam Hemsworth as Wally West
Joel Courtney as Dick Grayson (in the Flying Graysons still)
Charlie Hunnam as Oliver Queen
Yvonne Strahoski as Dinah Lance
Anna Kendrick as Iris Allen
All the cameos would be watching Iris Allen report on the Brainiac Lex attack, Dick with the Flying Circus, Wally just at his house, Oliver and Dinah at Oliver's mansion. Oliver would go to suit up and Dinah would tell him to stop and wait to see how it goes.

And that is my cast! I hope you enjoyed it, it's 12:38 AM, I'm tired, so if my explanations ramble, I'm sorry. I'm very tired and already talkative for the most part. I may update this tomorrow with a better explanation of the story, but for now GOODNIGHT! (Or morning technically--.../?';';
Have a MARVELous God Blessed day!

Some great choices buddy. I would prefer david giuntoli from Grimm as Batman.

Love the Lex pic, i've been hoping for ages that Ralph Fiennes is Lex in MOS2 and not Mark Strong.

@Unionjack Thanks, I have not watched Grimm in awhile, but David Giuntoli looks the part. And yeah, Mark Strong is great, but he played Sinestro already, so it seems redundant for him to play Lex.

@BlackJack10 Yeah, I like Chadwick Boseman, he seems like a cool dude, I wouldn't mind him as John Stewart at all, and for that matter Black Panther:)
I did know about John Krasinski as Captain America, boy that would have been different.

Hmmm...interesting. It's not bad all.

-I haven't really seen Philip act, but I see that he's the right age and height for this haha. Any of his work you recommend that show he can play Bats as well as Bruce?

-Zachary Levi is a pretty interesting choice for Barry. I could see it. I see Mike Vogel playing him though. Or Jake Gyllenhaal.

-I think Armie fits Bruce Wayne more, but I could definitely see it. They would need to use some movie magic to make him a bit shorter though haha! For my choice I would choose Jake Gyllenhaal. I could see Jake play Barry or Hal.

-Bridget FTW!

-I would choose David Oyelowo for John.

-Ralph Fiennes would be an interesting Lex. My personal choice is Jason Isaacs or Mark Strong, even though I would love him to return as Sinestro!

Pretty good cast! Great work.

@BlackJack10 Hmmm...a young John Stewart would be pretty interesting rather than him being the same age or a little older than Hal. Chadwick would definitely be a boss as young John. I wouldn't want Teen Titans young, though.

Soda9, Thank you!

-He was in that show Crusoe from like 2009 I think, and he was in Strike Back, I never say all of that but I watched some clips on Youtube.

-I think I only saw Mike Vogel in the Help, he was pretty good, he looks like Wally though.

-Armie does fit Bats too, maybe a little young. Jake Gyllenhaal was great in Source Code, I can see him as Hal or Bats.

-I've never seen David Oyelowo act but he looks the part.

-Jason Isaacs as Lex is pretty good, British actors who played villains in Harry Potter that seems to suit Lex lol. If Mark Strong did play Lex, Jason Isaacs would be good to replace him as Sinestro.

@SAT

As Batman/Bruce Wayne I would go with either Luke Evans or even Armie Hammer or even Liam McIntyre because any one of those guys if anything would be able to pull a Bale-like performance as Batman or at the very least make Batman seem more edgier or have more of a mysterious dark side not that Philip Winchester wouldn't be able to but to me he just doesn't seem like Batman, he seems more like Aquaman to me

As Barry Allen/Flash I would go with Patrick Wilson because if anything he is a fan favorite for the role and not only that but he even looks like Barry Allen, how could you not go with him?

With Hal Jordan I would go with Chris Pine and or for John Stewart I would go with Morris Chestnut because with these 2 actors they are actually fan favorites for those respective roles

As Wonder Woman I would go with Jaimie Alexander as Wonder Woman, yes I know she is already playing Lady Sif in the Thor movies but at the same time how could you not see the resemblance that she has with Wonder Woman of the comics, and not only that but she is a fan favorite despite being a Marvel property

I actually can agree with you with Michael B. Jordan as Vic Stone/Cyborg because he would make a great Cyborg and not only that but he would be able to hold his own too

And you already have Cavill built in as Superman, so no need to re-cast there

As for Green Arrow and Black Canary, I love Charlie Hunnam because of Sons of Anarchy and not only that but he is an odds on favorite of the fans to play Oliver Queen/Green Arrow and not to mention Yvonne Strahovski would actually be great in the role of Dinah Lance/Black Canary

As Iris West I would go with Rachel McAdams

As Wally West I would go with Liam Hemsworth and for Dick Grayson I actually like Joel Courtney

But how could you not include Aquaman in your Justice League fan cast? Or even Martian Manhunter for that matter? They are both integral parts of the Justice League

But for Aquaman personally I would go with Jai Courtney and as Martian Manhunter I would go with Benedict Cumberbatch

Ralph Fiennes as Lex Luthor, I love that pick but if anything I would go with either Jason Isaacs as Lex or even Mark Strong too myself

Other than that all in all great fan cast, definitely not first choices for some of the roles but other than that good job

@Shadow11, Actually I was very close to putting Luke Evans in my cast as Batman, Armie is a great choice too!

-And well for Barry I think you need someone young because the speed force keeps the speedsters young, Patrick Wilson is in his 40's technically, and while everyone ages starting with someone young helps make the aging less noticeable.

-I like Chris Pine, I'd cast him but he said at some point because he's Kirk he wouldn't do a superhero role quite yet. Casting someone who would want to be in a CBM helps it feel more authentic to me.

-Jaimie is a great pick for Wonder Woman! I cast her in a Young Justice cast a did awhile back as WW, I just decide to do someone different this time...

-I like Rachel McAdams as Iris too.

-I didn't put those guys because I think 5 main characters (plus John Stewart and Vic Stone showing up half way through) was enough, but looking back I'd probably have them make cameos during the end fight, Martian Manhunter could be an end credits scene.

- And thanks for viewing my cast!

Idris Elba as John Stewart? *Sighs* Heh, heh...well, at least you've got other original picks to make up for it, and kudos for that! I DO think that Armie Hammer suits Hal Jordan better than anything else, although I'd personally wait for a few more years to include him in Fan Cast's, but that I approve. I' don't feel Levy or Krasinski (they look alike, don't they?) as Barry, but then again, I've yet to see much of 'em, so I can be absolutely wrong. I like your Batman, Godfrey, Ollie/Dinah, Dick, Abel for Wally, and Anna Kendrick? An instant "yes," from me. Good stuff.
