-Season One-

Following the events of Power Rangers: Reckoning, Zordon has begun to revive from Zedd’s assault. Alpha, however, cannot maintain an energy flow powerful enough to keep Zordon’s consciousness alive in a projected form. This is key to the world’s survival, as the powerful ruler of the Machine Empire, Mondo, is invading Earth. A weapon powerful enough to defeat Mondo is located within The Fortress (the Titanus Monolith), but only Zordon can activate it. Thus, the Rangers must journey around the world to locate the Nano-Morphers that correspond with their Monoliths. Once this is done, the original Nano-Morphers can be used to repower Zordon’s life-support vessel and the Rangers can defeat Mondo. However, Mondo will stop the Rangers if he has to use all of his forces to do so, mostly combating them with his Cogs.

-Season Two-

Zordon has been revived and Mondo has been defeated with the Titanus Monolith. Having picked up the high energy signature from space, Rita Repula’s older brother Turam comes to Earth to avenge his sister. Once again pitted against an army of mud creatures, the Rangers must stop Turam from gathering the scattered pieces of the Obelisk monster.

-Season Three-

At the warning of Turam in season two’s finale, the Rangers await the arrival of Alatu (the father of Rita and Turam). When he arrives on Earth, Alatu easily lays waste to the Rangers and destroys reality. The Rangers are scattered throughout time and dimension to be tortured by Alatu’s powerful minions. Tommy and Billy are sent to the future where they are harassed by the resulting Psycho Rangers, Kimberly and Rocky are sent back to the brief past where they are assisted by Jason Scott (the gold Ranger) against Rita and Turam, and Adam and Aisha remain in the present with Zordon trying to bring back their friends while simultaneously trying to destroy Alatu. Once reunited, the Rangers will have to right the wrongs in the space/time continuum and permanently rid themselves of Alatu.

-Season Four-

Ivan Elucta is a byproduct of Alatu’s time altering that comes from another dimension to destroy the Rangers. Revealed to be the multiverse breeding of Zordon, Zedd, and the mud creatures, Ivan is the powerful creation of an even more powerful being. Using a variety of powerful creatures created from his body’s ooze, Ivan is one of the Rangers’ most powerful enemies yet. The Rangers must defeat Ivan before he can open a doorway for his master, which can only be opened once he has absorbed enough souls into himself.

-Season Five-

After Ivan absorbs the souls of the Rangers he unleashes his master: Gorma. As the dark ruler of the multiverse, Gorma’s introduction into a single world means the end to all peace in existence. Now existing in a purgatorial universe, the Rangers must find their way back to Earth before Gorma can ruin all that there is. Even once they have returned to Earth with new Nano-Morphers and Monoliths powered by the Zeo crystal, the Rangers will still have to defeat a god and send Gorma back to his astral home to save existence from anarchy.

Characters:

Zordon- Zordon was once the ambassador of the planet Eltar. In the events of Reckoning, Zordon was supposedly killed by Zedd. After the majority of the first season, Zordon is revived and goes on to resume his role as the Rangers’ leader/mentor.

Casting: Phil Lamaar

Significant Work:
Justice League (2001-2006)

Alpha 5- Alpha has been Zordon’s android servant for thousands of years. Throughout the majority of the first season, Alpha is in Zordon’s role of guidance to the Rangers. After Zordon’s revival, he returns to a state of assistance.

Casting: Michael Rosebaum

Significant Work:
Justice League (2001-2006)

Tommy Oliver- Tommy is a professional martial artist and leader of the Rangers. In Reckoning Tommy circumstantially took on the role of leader, but by the time this series comes around he has cemented himself in the role.

Casting: Nolan North

Significant Work:
TMNT (2007)
Hulk Vs. (2009)

Kimberly Hart- Kimberly is a journalist and is also the pink Ranger. Throughout the series her career will be destroyed by her dual identity.

Casting: Danielle Judovits

Significant Work:
The Batman (2004-2008)

Billy Cranston- Billy is a college professor and the blue Ranger. In this series, Billy’s intelligence will be more prominently displayed as he helps Alpha and Zordon with engineering and other scientific issues.

Casting: Jason Marsden

Significant Work:
Spirited Away (2001)
Static Shock (2000-2004)

Rocky DeSantos- Rocky is a professional martial artist and the red Ranger. Given more time in this series than in the film trilogy, Rocky develops into the comic relief of the series.

Casting: Rino Romano

Significant Work:
The Batman (2004-2008)

Aisha Campbell- Aisha is a professional martial artist and the yellow Ranger. She is characterized by her temper and rash behavior.

Casting: Olivia Olson

Significant Work:
Phineas and Ferb (2008-present)
Adventure Time with Finn and Jake (2010-present)

Adam Park- Adam is a professional martial artist and starts off the series as the black Ranger. As the first season progresses Adam will find his new
Nano-Morpher and will become the green Ranger.

Casting: Yuri Lowenthal

Significant Work:
Legion of Superheroes (2006-2008)
Wolverine and the X-Men (2009)
Young Justice (2010-present)

Mondo- Mondo is the ruler of the Machine Empire. Though not the most powerful villain of the series, Mondo is powerful enough that the Rangers must resort to using the Titanus Monolith to defeat him. Mondo’s motivation is to drain the life from every planet he comes across and use that energy to expand his empire. Zordon reveals that Mondo is responsible for the death of the planet Mirinoi (Reckoning). Piloting the robot form of his ship, Mondo is killed when the Rangers combine Titanus with their other Monoliths.

Casting: Kevin Michael Richardon

Significant Work:
The Batman (2004-2008)

Cogs- Mondo’s soldiers.

Tarum Repulsa (Rito Revolto) - Tarum is the older brother of Rita Repulsa. He comes to Earth to avenge his younger sister. It is unclear how similar, or dissimilar, he looks in comparison to his sister, as he is constantly wearing a skeletal armor. After learning of the Obelisk, Tarum’s goal is to reassemble its pieces so that he may use it to defeat the Rangers. After the Obelisk is summoned and destroyed again, the Rangers kill Tarum. With his dying breaths, Tarum warns that his father will come to avenge him and his sister.

Casting: Kevin Conroy

Significant Work:
Batman: The Animated Series (1992-1995)
Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009)
Batman: Arkham City (2011)

Alatu Repulsa (Master Vile) – Alatu is the father of Rita and Tarum Repulsa. After Tarum is killed, Alatu comes to Earth to finally destroy the Rangers. Wasting no time, Alatu disperses the Rangers throughout time and space to deal with his minions. In the future where Tommy and Billy are sent, Alatu has died and his body was used to create five Psycho Rangers. This future is undone when the Rangers come back to the present and destroy him. Alatu’s greatest power is his apparent ability to manipulate time and space.

Casting: Peter Cullen

Significant Work:
The Transformers (1984-1988)

Ivan Elucta (Ooze) - Ivan appears after Alatu has been destroyed and reality has been set right. As he explains, he is an amalgamation of many different individuals from different dimensions (including Zordon, Zedd, and a number of the mud creatures). Ivan has the ability to spew ooze from his tentacles and create soldiers from the product. His strive is to absorb a large number of souls so that he can release a master more powerful than himself. Ivan manages to accomplish this at the end of season four, seemingly killing the Rangers after he absorbs them. His body explodes and opens a portal for his master, Gorma.

Casting: Mark Hamill

Significant Work:
Batman: The Animated Series (1992-1995)
Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009)
Batman: Arkham City (2011)

Gorma- Gorma is the evil that opposes the ultimate good in all of existence. It was him that gave Alatu his time/space altering powers. This revelation shows that the goal of the series’ villains has always been to unleash him. Gorma wants nothing more than to wipe all good from existence; he exists for destruction. The Rangers reemerge from purgatory with Nano-Morphers powered by the Zeo crystal to defeat him. Gorma, in a comatose state, is sent back to the astral plane from whence he came.

Casting: Ron Perlman

Significant Work:
Justice League (2001-2006)
Teen Titans (2003-2006)

-----

The Rangers’ suits for the majority of the series are from the Super Sentai series Gosei Sentai Dairanger. All of the villain designs are original art from Deviantart users and are in no way my creation; I simply chose the artworks that most resembled how I imagined the new designs of the characters.

This is just me, but personally, I would love to see Divatox in your series. Other than Rita, she's my favorite RP villain.

^That would make sense. Looking at this again now, it very much disregards the possibilty of a female villain.

Sorry I meant PR not RP. But yeah Turbo and Mighty Morphin' were my favorite renditions of the franchise. But I understand why you might not use her. Your series is much darker and more serious, and Divatox was really comic.
