S P I D E R – M A N 6
The Amazing Spider-Man will be release in July and I’m sure it’s going to be outstanding. Had the Sam Raimi franchise not ended, this is the continuation of his Spider-Man series. If you haven’t read my previous articles, in Spider-Man 4, Spidey with businessman Adrian Toomes(Vulture) and scientist Curt Conners, who turned himself into The Lizard in an experiment. Conners gave his life to save Spider-Man from the Vulture. The remaing piece of the symbiote turned serial killer Kletus Kassidy’s into Carnage In Spider-Man Peter and MJ get hitched. Carnage killed Aunt May and teamed up with Mysterio and Chamelon. Mysterio’s plot fails and Carnage is killed. Mysterio goes to prison, but Chamelon escapes and is confronted by once thought to be dead, Dr. Octopus. The film picks up where 5 left off.
The movie begins outside a maximum security prison. Inside a prison guard walks past several cells holding Sandman, Shocker, Vulture, and Mysterio. The guard brings the food cart. It is pushed by a prisoner from the kitchen. Each villain receives a tray containing a small device with a note attached that says “PLACE ON LOCK.” The prisoner pushing the cart morphs into a copy of the guard and stuns him and takes his gun. The villain’s cell doors explode open. The new guard(Chamelon) bangs on the cell block door and tells them to open it. When they do, he shoots the subsequent guards. The others follow, taking out anyone in the way. Chamelon changes to himself and they blow an outer wall, where a helicopter waits to take them away.
The chopper takes them to an abandoned industrial laboratory. Inside, there is a table with their equipment laid out. As they reach for it, a metal shield drops down incasing it. Dr. Octopus appears and says he will provide them tech. In exchange, they must help him kill Spiderman. They agree and the Sinister Six is born.
Back in the city, a cat burglar is about to steal a large diamond from a museum. Spidey arrives and catches her in the act. The culprit is the sexy feline felon Black Cat. She uses her seductive ways and is able to escape with the diamond. The next day, Peter is sent to photograph to museum robbery. There he learns that one Felicia Hardy is the curator at the museum.
Later, Sandman and Shocker are seen wreaking havoc on a city street. Spidey arrives only to been struck by Vulture. Spidey knocks down Shocker(Chamelon) and to his surprise is hit with an energy blast, finding himself looking up at the real Shocker. Evading the others, Spidey runs into an alley and ala Mysterio, the alley becomes a South American jungle. The distraction allows Dr. Octopus to attack Spidey from behind. Spidey escapes by going down into the sewers.
That night Spidey runs into Black Cat again. He chases her and ends up on top of her. She fights to free herself, looses her mask in the process and reveals her identity as Felicia Hardy. Peter tells her he’ll keep her secret if she agrees to help him find the Sinister Six. She agrees, but only if he removes his mask. Felicia is surprised and pleased. They decide to search opposite ends of the city. Black Cat finds the Six’s hideout. Dr. Octopus is seen working with the remains of the tablet Vulture gets his strength. She’s spotted and gets captured.
A ransom video is sent to Felicia’s family. The Six want Peter to make the drop. This is a trap. Spidey doesn’t have a choice and feels responsible for the situation. Spidey enters the hideout and finds himself in a circus arena, courtesy of Mysterio. Spidey takes beating. Just when he’s about to be killed, Black Cat frees herself and comes to his aid. They team up and use their enemies’ strengths against them. As the Six regroup, Dr. Octopus turns on a pack attached to his back. Vulture’s tablet piece is wired into the pack and begins to glow. The others begin glowing as well and feel their energy being drained into Dr. Octopus. He explains how he planted devices to their clothing and rigged the tablet to take the energy others. They soon loose consciousness. A major battle takes place. Spidey and Black Cat are able destroy the tablet, causing an explosion, burying the Six under steel and concrete. Cat and Peter escape harm. Cat tells Peter it was great working together and kisses him on the cheek. The film would Peter and MJ standing over Aunt May and Uncle Ben’s graves.
