Hello, everyone. Since I've done two "You Decide" already, I thought about doing a third. Instead of a Marvel or DC film, I've choice an 80's cartoon that is still memorable to this day. I'm talking about the cartoon, Thundercats. For those unaware, the series follows the adventures of a group of alien cat humanoids on Third Earth, fighting against the ancient mummified sorcerer, Mumm Ra. The group is lead by Lion O, the Lord of the Thundercats, but is also the youngest. The team also consists of Panthro, a war veteran and the mechanic engineer who pilots the Thundertank. Tygra, often considered second in command, mostly for his great intelligence and is responsible for the design of their structures on Third Earth. Cheetara, the only adult female of the group, and is often the voice of reason and has a a bit of a sixth sense. The twins, WilyKit and WilyKat are older then Lion O, but are still referred to as ThunderKittens. WilyKat is often cautious, but his younger sister is more adventurous. Both, however, are still mischief makers. The last member Snarf, looked after Lion O, and still does. Despite not being much of a fighter, he is very agile and can communicate with the animals of Third Earth. They now fight against the evil Mumm Ra, who, with his group of mutants, attempt to destroy the Thundercats, but never succeed. He is actually the servant to the Ancient Spirits, who provide the villain with powers of sorcery and possible immortality.

Now that we got the history lesson out of the way for those who don't know much about the series, let's move on to the film adaptation. On June 7, 2007, Warner Bros announced a Thundercats film, but no word if it was to be live action or CGI. Veteran video game art director, Paul Sopocy is still attached to direct, and the film was to see release in summer of 2010. However, this was not the case, obviously. Fans weren't sure if this could be translated well into live action, but some were convinced when Youtube user Wormyt released a fan made live action trailer for the film. It had Brad Pitt (Troy) as Lion O, Vin Diesel (Riddick) as Panthro, Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) as Tygra and Gigi Edgley (Farscape) as Cheetara. It also included the Spy Kids as the twins and Garfield as Snarf. Needless to say, it impressed the whole internet and made news. Casting choices for the trailer were mixed, but some were satisfied. Michael Clarke Duncan, in 2011, expressed interest in playing Panthro, but due to the actor's unfortunate death in 2013, it's not going to happen. Believe me when I say he would've been my first choice.

With that, I've selected six actors/actresses for each role. The main four's choices will include those from Wormyt's trailer. But let me explain a few things. Snarf WILL NOT be here, mostly due the fact the fanbase find him annoying, and would prefer the 2011 version. I'm in full agreement, and I hope they just get the voice actor from the 2011 show to do the noises, since that's all he really does. For the twins, the ages do vary, so keep that in mind. The mutants aren't here because it proved too difficult to find six actors for the four of them. I'll give my choices if asked. For Mumm Ra, I've selected actors that could both physically portray his first form and then his voice when he transforms. Bengali, Pumyra, and Lynx-O won't be here mainly because it's better to have them in a sequel, rather then trying to introduce them in the first film. Also, Lion O and Tygra will share one actor. Without further ado, here are the choices for the Thundercats:

Lion O:

Actors: Brad Pitt, Jake Gyllenhaal, Bradley James, Matthew Mcconaughey, Chris Hemsworth and Scott Speedman.

Panthro:

Actors: Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michael Jai White, Michael Chiklis, Ving Rhames and Idris Elba.

Cheetara:

Actresses: Gigi Edgley, Charlize Theron, Rebecca Romijn, Yvonne Strahovski, Milla Jovovich, and Jennifer Lawrence.

Tygra:

Actors: Hugh Jackman, Scott Speedman, Christian Kane, Brandon Routh, Jared Padalecki, and Val Kilmer.

WilyKat:

Actors: Tristan Lake Leabu, Jimmy Bennett, CJ Adams, Zachary Gordon, Joshua Rush, and David Gallagher.

WilyKit:

Actresses: Baliee Madison, Abigail Breslin, Chloe Grace Moretz, Elle Fanning, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Taylor Dooley.

Jaga:

Actors: Christopher Lee, Frank Langella, Ian Mckellen, Liam Neeson, Patrick Stewart, and Morgan Freeman.

and

Mumm Ra:

Actors: Ron Perlman, Bill Nighy, Ed Harris, Hugo Weaving, Tim Curry and Ian McDiramid.

Well, that's the choices. Now, I'm sure there are going to be concerns, but let me explain. One, Brandon Routh. I know he isn't well liked on here, but I don't find him as a bad actor. Plus, he's shown he can act quiet and thoughtful, which is another one of Tygra's personality traits. Another one that I can foresee is that Rhames and Kilmer are out of shape for their roles I selected them for. Guys, actors get in shape all the time for a role. It's been proven numerous times. Also, feel free to suggest your own choices in the comments bellow. That's all guys, and now you can choice the cast for the Thundercats.

Great list of actors for all your choices! I tip my hat to you sir. Trying to decide who to cast as the main four is definately difficult. The only two actors that I think are a perfect fit would be Liam Nesson for Jaga and Bill Nighy for Mumm Ra. Personally I find it hard to believe that no studio or director has made an attempt to adapt ThunderCats to the big screen. If done right with a great script passionate cast and crew ThunderCats could be a hugely successful francise. Lets just hope someone decides to make an awesome ThunderCats movie one day!

Love most of the actors on here except most of them are getting up there in age except for Wilycat and kit. Personally, I recommend finding younger actors that are not well-known which I think will do a decent job. Overall, great job!
