What if FOX ever grows tired of the X-Men franchise and decides to give the rights back to Marvel Studios. This is a fancast for (some of the) heroes and villains of the X-Men Universe.

Original Team

The Original X-Men team founded by Charles Xavier

Mark Strong as Professor X/Charles Xavier


Professor Charles Xavier is the creator of the X-Men and founder of the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters. His dream of peaceful coexistence between mutants and humanity has long been the driving force for the X-Men. An immensely powerful telepath and scientific genius, Xavier was among the world's greatest masterminds.

Garrett Hedlund as Cyclops/Scott Summers


The first X-Man, Scott Summers possesses the mutant ability to emit powerful force blasts from his eyes. He is visually distinctive for the ruby quartz visor he wears to control his devastating power.

Rooney Mara as Jean Grey


Jean Grey was one of the five original X-Men. An omega-level mutant telekinetic and telepath, Jean has gained near limitless powers as a recurrent host of the Phoenix Force.

Dan Stevens as Angel/Warren Worthington III


A mutant and original member of the X-Men. Warren received his angelic wings at a tender age, as well as a unique healing factor in his blood.

Benjamin Walker as Beast/Dr. Hank McCoy


One of the founding X-Men, Dr. Hank McCoy, is a mutant possessing animal-like strength and agility. Despite being covered in blue fur and resembling, a ferocious, beast, he possesses an astounding, intellect and superb wit.

Andrew Garfield as Iceman/Bobby Drake


The youngest member of the original X-Men. Bobby is an Omega-level mutant, although it took some help from Emma Frost to realize this. Bobby's control of ice is vast; he can create shields, clones, spikes, slides and also freeze others.

A long-lived mutant with the rage of a beast and the soul of a Samurai, James "Logan" Howlett's past is filled with blood, war, and betrayal. Possessing an accelerated healing factor, enhanced senses, and bone claws in his hands that, along with his skeleton, are coated in adamantium, Wolverine is the ultimate weapon.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Storm/Ororo Monroe


Ororo Munroe is mutagenically imbued with the potent genetic disposition to and manipulate the energies that preside over the weather, in addition to other atmospheric phenomena. Having lived through a tumultuous life replete with successes and hardships, Storm; the thief, the princess, the once and future leader of mutant kind has eked her rightful place as one of the most influential women in the world. Her mandate is focused upon the safeguarding of her people, and the protection of Earth.

Alan Ritchson as Colossus/Piotr Rasputin


Piotr Rasputin is a Russian mutant who possesses the ability to transform his body into organic steel, giving him immense strength and durability. Colossus is among the physically strongest X-Men, and is a talented artist.

Alicia Vikander as Shadowcat/Kitty Pryde


Kitty Pryde, also known as Shadowcat, is a mutant gifted with the ability to become intangible and phase her body through solid material. A talented prodigy, she became the "poster child" of the X-Men.

Emmy Rossum as Rogue/Anna-Marion Carlyle


Once a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Rogue has since become a veteran member of the X-Men. After many years, she has finally gained conscious control of her power to absorb the thoughts, abilities and memories of others through physical contact.

Josh Hartnett as Gambit/Remy LeBeau


Gambit is a charming master thief turned X-Man. He possesses the mutant ability to charge inanimate objects with kinetic energy, causing them to explode, he is also extremely agile because of his powers. Gambit's signature move is throwing charged playing cards.

Daniel Radcliffe as Nightcrawler/Kurt Wagner


Kurt Wagner is a prominent member of the X-Men and former member and leader of Excalibur. He possessed the mutant ability of teleportation, as well as incredible agility and a prehensile tail. Nightcrawler was a devout Catholic, contrasting his demonic appearance. A swashbuckling trickster and former circus acrobat.

Malese Jow as Jubilee/Jubilation Lee


Jubilee, once a teenage mutant, became a member of the X-Men who could release colorful explosive plasmoids and detonate matter at a sub-atomic level.

Christina Chong as Psylocke/Betsy Braddock

British beauty Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock is a mutant with vast telepathic and telekinetic powers that she can focus into deadly weapons. She is a stealthy martial artist, a former fashion model and longtime X-Man.

Dave Franco as Havok/Alex Summers


Havok is the son of Corsair and brother of Cyclops, and Vulcan, and has led both the Brotherhood, of Mutants, and X-Factor.Havok is a extremely powerful mutant possessing the power to absorb ambient cosmic energy, process it and emanate it from his body as waves of energy that heat the air in the path, turning it into plasma in the form of a blast or discharge, with a tell-tale concentric circle pattern.

Emma Watson as Polaris/Lorna Dane


The mutant mistress of magnetism, Polaris is also the daughter of Magneto. After a long sojourn in space she rejoined the ranks of X-Factor, fought alongside the X-Men against the Avengers, and now leads Serval Industries' All New X-Factor.

Nate Parker as Lucas Bishop


Lucas Bishop is a mutant from the 22nd century that traveled into the past, becoming a member of the X-Men, and later, the Uncanny X-Force. He has the power to channel kinetic energy, releasing it generally through beams of energy.

Kevin McKidd as Banshee/Sean Cassidy


Banshee is a mutant with a sonic scream. Born in Ireland, he pursued a career in Interpol, the X-Men, Generation X as Co-Headmaster, and founded X-Corp. He is the father of Theresa Cassidy as well as Black Tom Cassidy's cousin.

Timothy Olyphant as Cable/Nathan Summers


Nathan Summers is Cyclops' time-traveling son infected with the deadly techno-organic virus at a young age which he kept at bay using his advanced psionic powers.

Raoul Trujilo as Forge


Forge is a Cheyenne with natural mystical abilities and the mutant power to innately comprehend technology and build anything he can think of.

Alex Meraz as Warpath/James Proudstar


James Proudstar, known as Warpath, is a mutant of Apache descent who has been affiliated with many X-Teams over the years starting with the Hellions. Driven by anger over his older brother's heroic death while an active member of the X-Men, James has recently come to find peace concerning the matter.

Julia Jones as Moonstar/Dani Moonstar


A Native American and member of the original New Mutants, Dani Moonstar was one of many mutants to lose their powers on M-Day. Moonstar currently uses her skills, experience and combat prowess to fight against evil.

Kelly MacDonald as Moira MacTaggert


Moira MacTaggert was once one of the world's leading authorities on genetic mutation and was the only non-mutant to contract the Legacy Virus.

Hunter Parrish as Cannonball/Sam Guthrie


Cannonball is a mutant with the ability to propel himself through the air like a human rocket. Over the years, Sam has grown from a New Mutant, to the leader of the original X-Force, to a full-fledged X-Man.

Dianna Agron as Dazzler/Alison Blaire


A mutant with the ability to transduce sound into light, which often forces her into reluctant superheroism. She is also a very gifted singer and performer, hence her reservations in donning her uniform.

Jensen Ackles as Multiple Man/Jamie Madrox


Jamie Madrox, also known as Multiple Man, is a mutant with the ability to create duplicates of himself through physical contact. These "dupes" can later be reabsorbed, along with all of their memories and experiences.

Teresa Palmer as Magik/Ilyana Rasputin


The younger sister of Colossus. Illyana Rasputina is a mutant teleporter, a sorceress, and the ruler of Limbo.

Xavier Samuel as Northstar/Jean-Paul Beaubier


Twin brother of Aurora, Northstar is the haughty mutant speedster affiliated with the X-Men, though he was originally a member of Alpha Flight. He is most famous for being the first openly gay superhero.

Jessica Brown-Findley as Aurora/Jeanne-Marie Beaubier


Aurora, the twin sister of Northstar, was a founding member of Alpha Flight. She also suffers from a dissociative identity disorder, which often causes her to be caught in precarious situations.

Eleanor Thomlinson as Siryn/Theresa Cassidy


Theresa Cassidy is a mutant with sonic-based powers inherited from her father, Sean Cassidy a.k.a. Banshee.

Olga Kurylenko as Domino/Neena Thurman


Domino is a skilled, mutant, mercenary, who possesses, the ability to manipulate probability in her favor, giving the effect of incredible luck. 

Spencer Locke as Husk/Paige Guthrie


Husk is a mutant with the ability to husk her skin to expose a new type and layer of skin underneath. 

Jaime Chung as Karma/X'ian Coy Manh


Karma is a mutant with the ability to mentally possess other beings. A founding member of the New Mutants, she is one of the few confirmed and openly lesbian characters.

Dakota Blue Richards as Pixie/Megan Gwynn


Pixie is a fairy-winged mutant who can cause those exposed to her dust to experience hallucinations. Magik forged a fragment of her soul into a dagger which can disrupt magic and mystical beings. Pixie is a teleporter by means of a teleportation spell.

Diego Boneta as Sunspot/Ricardo Da Costa


Roberto Da Costa is a mutant, with the ability, to harness the sun's power and possesses superhuman strength, speed, and durability. Born in Brazil, Roberto comes, from a wealthy family, and has been described as brash and quick tempered.

Nora Arnezeder as Magma/Amarra Aquillo


Magma can transform into molten rock & has control over the Earth. She was one of the New Mutants, but left to join the Hellions.

Levin Rambin as Boom-Boom/Tabitha Smith


A former member of the New Mutants and X-Force, Boom-Boom is a mutant with the ability to create energy bombs of various sizes and intensity which explode upon impact.

Nicola Peltz as the Stepford Cuckoos


The Stepford Cuckoos are five powerful telepaths - cloned daughters of Emma Frost's - who can combine their telepathic abilities to create a much more powerful hive-mind.

Freya Mavor as Wolfsbane/Rahne Sinclair


A member of the original New Mutants, Wolfsbane has the power of lycanthropy.

Kaya Scodelario as X-23/Laura Kinney


X-23 is a product of the Weapon X program cloned from a damaged sample of Wolverine's DNA. Since she could walk, she was trained to kill Wolverine, but instead she joined the X-Men becoming his daughter figure and eventually, his successor.

Tyler Posey as Rockslide/Santo Vaccarra


Rockslide is a student at the Xavier Institute and a member of the Young X-Men. Santo's body is totally made-up with inorganic granite which grant him a number of superhuman attributes.

Olivia Wilde as Emma Frost


The former White Queen of the Hellfire Club, Emma Frost is a powerful mutant telepath who can transform herself into organic diamond. She has become an eminent member among the X-Men. A gifted teacher, Emma is renowned for her beauty, wit, and revealing attire.

Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool/Wade Wilson


Wade Wilson is a former test subject of the Weapon X program, possessing a regenerative healing factor and an unstable compiling of other "Weapon X" experiments. Deadpool's powers and personality traits combine to make a wild, mentally unstable, and unpredictable mercenary. Deadpool has been a member of X-Force and the Thunderbolts, and a self-professed member of the X-Men and Avengers. The "Merc with a Mouth" is infamous for breaking the fourth wall.

As the ultimate breaker of the fourth wall, this is the only character who isn't recasted. (Imagine the quips he could make towards FOX)

Villains

Now for the villains of the X-Men Universe

Sean Bean as Magneto/Erik Lensherr


Among the most powerful, recognizable, and infamous mutants to inhabit the planet Earth, Magneto was the X-Men's first major nemesis. Now known as a revolutionist and terrorist, Magneto has fought for the X-Men as many times as he’s been against them.

Lena Headey as Mystique/Raven Darkholme


True to her name, the shape shifting Mystique is an enigma. Is she a mutant terrorist determined to bring about the end of humanity, or a misguided mutant with a good heart?

Alexander Skarsgard as Sabretooth/Victor Creed


Victor Creed is the feral mutant called Sabretooth. He was a member/subject of the Weapon X Project and is the arch-enemy of Wolverine. Unlike Wolverine, Sabretooth embraces his primal instincts, leaving death in his wake.

Elijah Wood as Toad/Mortimer Toynbee


Toad (Mortimer Toynbee) was a Marvel Comics super villain, and enemy of the X-Men. He was a member of Magneto´s Brotherhood of evil mutants.

Vince Vaughn as Blob/Fred Dukes


A common enemy of the X-Men and one of the most unusual mutants, who was de-powered during M-Day.The Blob was a Gamma-Level mutant whose mutant physiology granted him powers that are related to the mass, strength, stamina, endurance, resilience and indestructibility of his obese body.

Kevin Durand as Juggernaut/Cain Marko


Cain Marko, also known as the Juggernaut, is the step-brother of X-Men founder Charles Xavier and the avatar of Cyttorak. Powered by the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, Marko is bestowed virtually limitless brute strength and durability which he mostly uses for criminal pursuits and wanton destruction. The Juggernaut is considered one of the strongest and most powerful beings on Earth.

James Purefoy as Mastermind/Jason Wynegarde


Founding member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Jason Wyngarde was the original Mastermind. He was instrumental in the creation of Dark Phoenix, ruining Wolverine's relationship with Mariko Yashida and later died of the Legacy Virus. His two daughters have inherited his telepathic illusionary powers and name.

Martin Sheen as Senator Robert Kelly


Senator Robert Kelly was a member of the United States Senate, where he supported the Mutant Registration Act. Despite his beliefs, the X-men have saved him on numerous occasions, and he has since had a changed of heart regarding Mutants.

Max Thiertot as Pyro/John Allerdyce


Pyro is a mutant with the psionic ability to manipulate flame. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants & Freedom Force.

Daniel Craig as Mr. Sinister/Nathaniel Essex


19th Century scientist Nathaniel Essex was genetically mutated by Apocalypse, who shared his philosophy of Social Darwinism. Becoming the immortal Mr. Sinister, he is perhaps the greatest geneticist in the world; capable of cloning, creating, enhancing, and controlling mutant abilities.

Joel Edgerton as Apocalypse/En Sabbah Nur


One of the very first mutants, Apocalypse is both thousands of years old and a monstrous tyrant that has been a longtime foe of the X-Men. Apocalypse believes that only the strongest (whether mutant or superhuman) should survive. His body is a mix of organics and powerful celestial technology.

Michael Keaton as Reverend William Stryker


William Stryker became a preacher and Christian televangelist in order to spread his hatred of mutants. He also founded a secret paramilitary group called the Purifiers which carried out violent acts against the mutant population.

Greg Kinnaer as Bolivar Trask


Creator of the machines that hunt mutants known as the Sentinels.

Domnhall Gleeson as Graydon Creed


Son of Sabretooth and Mystique, Graydon Creed developed a deep hatred of mutants due to both his parents abandoning him as a child after he was born human. As he grew older, he became a member of anti-mutant hate groups such as The Purifiers and Friends of Humanity.

Good cast. Only ones I disagree with are Wolverine and Iceman. Because Iceman is the "younges member of the team" and he's being played by a 32-year-old.

Except for Mark Strong, your X-Men are way different from mine, and I love it. I enjoy the fresh perspective. The casting I love most, besides Strong, is Kaya as X-23, and I think I just might steal it. Anyway, really, really good. Good job.
