3. David N.White’s Script was leaked www.latinoreview.com and got a bad review this could be the reason why Robert made his own draft.
4. Because of his commitments, Rodriguez wasn't able to direct Sonja and instead offered it to his friend, Douglas Aarniokoski. He did promise that he'll be extremely hands-on as a producer to the extent that it'll basically be unofficial co-directing. Rodriguez had been trying to get Red Sonja on the big screen for years and, coincidentally, the script came across McGowan's desk at exactly the right time.
5. Rose McGowan (Red Sonja) was offered the part and bought Robert along and he bought Douglas (official Director) along.
6. The Movie is Red Sonja organ Story and will be based on issues 9-12 of the Dynamite Entertainment comic series.
Rose and Robert have said that the costume seen in the first batch of posters shown at the comic con is not the final version of the poster because “that was just a mock for the poster the real costume is quit spectacular’ the real one is going to be smaller and more strategic.
7. Rose will be doing most of her own stunts and learning fight training, 5 hours of sword fighting, acrobatics, free running with swords, weight training, and stunt horseback riding.
8. Red Sonja is not a remake or a sequal to the 1985 film starring Brigitte Nielsen and Arnold Schwarzenegger this is a new version of the comic franchise.
