The 'She-devil with a sword- last seen on out screens as Brigitte Nielsen in Richard Fleischer's shonky in out multiplexes as soon as we thought. set to be directed by Douglas Aarniokoski and star Rose McGowan, with Robert Rodriguez producing, the project is now on hiatus. "Because of certain issues and the economy, we had to change our plan a bit," admits executive producer Joe Gatta, who's also producing the Conan reboot."It's frustrating because we thought we'd make the movie last year, before Conan."Gatta is still confident Red Sonja will go before cameras in 2010, and he can confirm this will be an origin stoy that ignores Fleisher's shaky stub at the flame-haired warrioress and goes straight to the source:Roy Thomas and Barry Windsor-Smith's comic-book character, Despite the fact that she started out as a Conan comic-book spin-off. Gatta is confident of the character's stansalone appeal. "she's beautiful and sexy, and she kicks ass! Although you have to be reallt carefull so it's not campy. You want to make it real. make her convicingly tough. And i think we have a script that's cracked it."DJ EXPECTED: Late 2010 TBC

Man, you think people could learn how to spell, capitalize, punctuate, and maybe learn how to write a complete sentence. Geesh.

"Geesh" is not a complete sentence.
It is a sentence fragment.

Also, "alten2345" as your proper pseudonym should be capitalized.

ain't dat , right LEE ".

I'd rather have them push forward with a Good Conan movie. Hopefully they will think ahead and make sure to get all the right people to make multiple Conan films and not some crappy movie that pops up and turns to mush and kills the franchise by hollywood tipping over a bucket of water as it tries to rekindle Conan from the Ashes. Robert E. Howard is not hard to interpret. His stories are pretty much written in Laymans terms and dont read like old english or VCR Instructions, just make sure they get a great screen play and the rest can fall into place.

They can do either one first if it brings back these kinds of movie's.

I would like to see a remake of Sword and the Sorcerer, or maybe even a new Beast Master as long as he doesn't travel to the future again keep it in the same time period and it's all gravy.
