Bryan Singer Will Stay On As RED SONJA Director Despite New Sexual Misconduct Allegations

Allegations of rape and sexual misconduct have plagued director Bryan Singer (X-Men, The Usual Suspects) for years, but many believed that the fresh accusations detailed in the recent exposé from The Atlantic would finally be enough to, at the very least, get him blacklisted in Hollywood.
Well, they didn't.
Millennium Films CEO and Red Sonya producer Avi Lerner has now released a statement on the matter, making it vert clear that he has no intention of firing Singer from the project.
"I continue to be in development for Red Sonja and Bryan Singer continues to be attached," Lerner said. "The over $800 million Bohemian Rhapsody has grossed, making it the highest grossing drama in film history, is testament to his remarkable vision and acumen. I know the difference between agenda driven fake news and reality, and I am very comfortable with this decision. In America people are innocent until proven otherwise."
Allegations aside, hiring Singer is a risky prospect for any studio. The filmmaker has earned a reputation for erratic on-set behavior, and was actually fired from helming Bohemian Rhapsody after frequently going missing and clashing with star Rami Malek.
Singer vehemently denies the allegations.
