The RED SONJA Movie Gets A New Writer In THE FALL's Christopher Cosmos

A film for the "She Devil with a Sword" lives again at Nu Image/Millennium Films. Though no director is attached yet, The Fall screenwriter Christopher Cosmos has been hired to work on a new script.

Looks like we'll be getting that Red Sonja movie at some stage after all. The Robert E. Howard-created warrior (though it was actually Roy Thomas who revamped her for Marvel's Conan comics) was already the subject of a movie from director Richard Fleischer back in 1985 with Brigitte Nielsen in the title role, and since that there have been a couple of attempts at a reboot -- most notably Robert Rodriguez's version which would have starred his then girlfriend Rose McGowan, and very nearly got off the ground. Then back in 2011 Simon West actually signed on to helm a Red Sonja movie (possibly starring Amber Heard) which would have tied into Marcus Nispel's Conan The Barbarian remake, but obviously that wasn't to be either.

Now it seems with Arnold Schwarzenegger set to crush his enemies as Conan once again, Nu Image feel it's time to give Sonja another go too with Christopher Cosmos on script duty. The Former VP of production company BenderSpink doesn't actually have a completed film under his belt yet, but sold his post-apocalyptic thriller The Fall to QED films in 2012, and has both Scouts And Raiders and Langley High in development. Hopefully he'll be looking to Gail Simone's Dynamite comic series for inspiration.

Can't wait to see the uber-realistic black uniform they put her in. In the interest of realism, she can't possibly walk around in a metal bikini. So prepare yourself gentlemen for a fully clothed Sonja.

Because I set it to go live this morning. I'll provide proof, though I really couldn't give a flying [frick] who does or doesn't believe me.

You guys can check the admin to see what's queued up.

It is really confusing though when usermade articles go up, are commented on and then get replaced (many) hours later. I get that editors' articles don't always "go live" immediately, but you can't really blame users to sometimes get slightly irritated in such cases.

1) I am not constantly accused of that, I am occasionally accused of it by morons, trolls, or those that still think there's a big CBM editor conspiracy -- I never do it.

2) Any time I delete an article I send a mail to the author explaining why, and if they're happy then that's all that's important, If not, they can take it u with me privately. It's nobody else's business.

Umm..did you look at that screencap? See the numbers? Ok, clearly I'm dealing with an imbecile here so I'll address Kyos instead.

It is unfortunate when that happens, though as I said, they can check the admin to see if anything if queued up. Usually we'd spot when a user has posted after us and delete it straight away but in this case I was asleep, as he posted quite a while after me..again, which is evidenced by the article codes.

Yeah, I know. It's not ideal, but it is what it is. There should probably just not be that much time between posting and going live?! I don't know, I'm not big on posting articles. I haven't even got a clue how one would "check the admin".
