"It's all led to this..."
Prime Video has released an extended trailer for next week's season finale of The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power, and amid the epic action, it promises viewers that "all will be revealed."
Yes, it looks like Sauron is finally going to make his presence felt, as we see the three mysterious priestesses, the Dweller, the Ascetic and the Nomad, announcing the Dark Lord's arrival.
Will it be Halbrand? The Stranger? Or a character we haven't met yet? A lot of viewers remain convinced that it'll be the newly-crowned King of the Southlands, but this teaser definitely seems to be pointing us in the direction of the Harfoot's "giant" travelling companion.
Elsewhere in the promo, we see Gil-Galad and Celebrimbor discussing the titular rings and catch a brief glimpse of their creation. If you're familiar with Tolkien's works or even Peter Jackson's LOTR trilogy, you'll have a pretty good idea how this plays out, but the show has already made some significant changes to the lore, so we might be in store for a surprise or two.
