Out of the LOTR trilogy, The Two Towers was the best one in my opinion. Then The Fellowship of The Ring came second and Return of the King third.

I saw the trilogy (extended editions) before reading the books. Then I rewatched the trilogy after reading the books. I loved the trilogy amid its many flaws both in special effects, practical effects and story telling. What I loved about the trilogy was that it was essentially the first of its kind (big budget movies based on a popular book that was grounded in a fantastical realm.)I would say the best movie for me would be Return of the King.

Fellowship is the first and best, for me. It has the frickin' Balrog.

I'm so glad DC beat Marvel for once, in snatching up Margot Robbie. She will rock the Harley role.

I have to agree with @Jayybeast. Return of the King was a bit of a letdown in terms of story. I wish it was explained where the elves were going at the end of the film. That was always unclear to the general public. Not that they need to delve into 1st Age lore, but they could have at least explained that they were travelling to the Undying Lands of the Valar instead of just 'the West'. It sounds like they are going off to die.

I am admittedly a diehard marvel fan...always have been...but I do love the DC movies as well, just wasn't a big reader of them growing up, other than Batman.....so could someone please just give me a crash course on Suicide squad, never read it...I mean I can't see joker and Harley Quinn as anti-heroes, or am I misunderstanding things hahaha

I have a fear that Leto will ham up the Joker role too much. Hopefully he can play the Joker as restrained as Ledger did- subtly psychotic.

And just one more thing about Margot- she is enough to make a good dog break it's leash.

Fellowship of the Ring is the most complete / best movie of the LOTR trilogy IMO. The Two Towers suffers from the boring Ent scenes, and the Return of the King with its never-ending-ending. Also the Frodo / Sam scenes in general aren't exciting or gripping in comparison to when Gandalf, Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas and Co are on screen.

@GothamSon

Im sure he will be great man. He will probably be unrecognizable in the role.

It's very stressful listening to people talk about the LotR that hasn't read the books.

I have a feeling Leto's Joker will be the most accurate to the comic. With Snyder as the godfather of the DCCU and his track record with great omic adaptations(watchmen and 300) The designs of the characters and their personas will be amazing. If hes anything like Rorschach he will be (this word is used waay to much and Istarted using it back in 06 or 07 when I first player gears of war) EPIC.

If his new batman design is anything to go by then we will finally get THE joker. not nolans bs grounded in reality anarchist joker with the stupid scars for a smile. BUT the death worshiping psychopath we all have wanted to see since first learning about the character. I honestly cant wait to see what Leto is going to do and I hope he doesnt have a stupid permanent smile. But a natural face with a creepy natural grin. CANT WAIT. The DCCU might just surpass the MCU in terms of comic accuracy.

@CoulsonNeverDies definitely! ROTK let me down when it came to the storyline. It's just like The Dark Knight Trilogy in comparison. TDK is the best out of the 3, then Batman Begins and sadly last is TDKR. Like WTF! What was this!
