New Images and Translated Pages from Darren Aronofsky's Noe

We all know that Darren Aronofsky is making Noah, his epic movie based on a the graphic novel "Noe" which is very loosely based on the Biblical accounts in the book of Genesis. We've even seen some concept art and set photos as well as the videos below, however we didn't know much about the scale of this movie or the approach Aronofsky is using to tell the story. Here is a small glimpse by the way of some translated pages from the novel and some new images and wallpapers. For those who are expecting a play by play Biblical account, this movie will be disappointing, but if you are looking forward to an epic movie with great visuals and story line pulled from various Noah accounts around the world then this should be very entertaining, check out the images and quotes below.

1. It was a world without hope, a world with no rain and no crops, dominated by warlords and their barbarian hordes.

In this cruel world, Noah was a good man. Seasoned fighter, mage and healer but he only wanted peace for him and his family. Yet every night, Noah was beset by visions of endless flood, symbolizing the destruction of all life.

Gradually, he began to understand the message sent to him by the Creator. He had decided to punish the men and kill them to the last. But he gave Noah a last chance to preserve life on Earth ...

2. The Creator has spoken, the Flood will begin soon and will spare no form of life better for countless wash dirt inflicted on the Earth since the dawn of man. And time is now for Noah, his prophet, which should hasten to build the ark that will host two representatives of each species - seed of a future dedicated to hatch after purification by water. But the vision of Noah fulfilled, it is still necessary that the Ark resist the storm raised by the wrath of his fellow reluctant to undergo the divine decree without firing a shot ...

3. This man called Noah. Far from the image of the patriarch appends it to the character of the Bible, it looked like a warrior. It looks like a Mad Max out of the depths of time. in the world of Noah, pity has no place. With his wife and three children, he lives in a land barren and hostile, plagued by drought. A world marked by violence and barbarism, savagery delivered clans who draw their reason to survive the war and cruelty.

But Noah is not like the others. This is a fighter and is also a healer. It is subject to visions which he announced the imminent end of the earth, engulfed by the waters of a flood endless. Noah must notify his fellows. If man is to survive, it must end the suffering inflicted on the planet and "treat the world with mercy." However, nobody listens. The tyrant Akkad, which Noah went to visit in the city of Bal-Ilim, the hunted and condemned the leak. Cool. There looks to be some high-tech shit in the ruins in there. I was hoping for a vision of the past that would be moe advanced than the present, technologically, as they had millenia to advance and most of the evidence of such technology could have easily been destroyed by cataclysmic devastation, but if that shit had already existed and then it went all Mad Max, then that is cool. Like flying cars and shit is way back in the past of an already post-apocalyptic pre-end of the world that happened thousands of years ago from now. That feeds the imagination with vastness, don't it, now?

@ DukeAcureds - that would indeed be cool. Most, if not all, of the worlds oldest people groups speak of a golden age which once existed where their ancestors lived with high technology and that this world was decimated by a flood/cataclysmic event, a fact that rings true with real archaeologcical discoveries. There are literally thousands of mind blowing hints scattered across the globe.
