Red Riding Hood is directed by Catherine Hardwicke from a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson and is very loosely based on the folk tale Little Red Riding Hood.

Set in a medieval village, Daggerhorn, Valerie (Amanda Seyfried) falls in love with an orphaned wood cutter as a village is haunted by a werewolf. The villagers of Daggerhohn seek the assistance of a hunter (Gary Oldman) to fight the creature.

The Werewolf is probably going to be Billy Burke, Gary Oldman or Red Riding´s mom, Virginia Madsen!... Or Grandmom, Julie Christie! That would be hilarious!xD... I hope its not that boy in the black!:/ that would be very disapointing and predictable!

Seyfried is HOT! But the trailer smacks of Twilight. Either that or I'm seeing too much it of through "twilight influenced glasses".

One thing for sure though, Amanda Seyfried is HOT! Sorry, just couldn't stop saying that.

Yep i was going to comment on this i was excited about this movie but since knowing "Twilight" is somehow in the mix, my expectation has gone low.....

Ror@ Yes that is Twilight´s director Catherine Hardwicke! Hope she doesnt screw this up! Thou she has made a few good movies on her career (Lords of Dogtown, Thirteen)! One big part of this movie is the werewolf! Like i said to Lee if it ends up to be just a big black wolf this movie is finished!... At least on my part!

If it has a drop of Trick r Treat in it? It could be pretty awesome!
Anyone remember that scene in Trick r Treat where the hot chicks change into a vicious werewolves?! That is how werewolves should change!:)

I know this is in reference to something a while ago, but you guys were wondering why there weren't so many girls on here? I'm pretty sure pics like that first one are a HUGE part of it. This site is so heavily geared towards men in such a sexual way, and a lot of girls don't like dealing with the creepiness of it.

WHOA LEE777 you just made me have an epiphany, you're 100% right on Seyfried = Supergirl in a movie HOLY CRAP. I NEVER NEVER thought of that before and as soon as you mentioned it I was like "THAT'S IT, SHE'S THE GIRL"


Man now i'm gonna hope they cast her as supergirl either in a movie or tv series. She's PERFECT.

Wasn't too sure about a Red film with Seyfried when I first heard about it, but the trailer definitely put me off of seeing this film. To Twilighty for me.

Still, I'm intrigued by Oldman and Julie Christie.

I might rent it when it's a buck.

Ya know, it's funny. The director of twilight makes the same movie again, just not set in the present and without Kristen Stewart and the other coke fiends, and I want to watch it. This looks pretty cool.
