Cartoon Network has finally launched their new Green Lantern animated series website. With it they feature a completely new video clip showcasing everything from character designs, to buildings, tone and color. It looks pretty cool and should be very interesting! Now, I just hope it turns out to be more in tone of Star Wars: The Clone Wars than Tom & Jerry! (I loved that show)

GO GREEN!

What do you guys think?

Maybe they should just get Bruce Timm to help in the live action department.

I still enjoyed the GL film. Much more the second time I saw it. Didn't walk out disappointed.

still dont think Timm's style works in 3d, its definitely cool, and even cooler since his art is all self taught, but it doesnt look good in 3d animation

Young Justice is awesome.

Watched it on YouTube.

Can't watch 'GL:TAS' because I don't have a TV set.

Haven't watched TV in a year.

The Internet killed Television!

They should have at least made it traditionally instead of CGI, then it would at least have sort of a lost-90's-show feel to it. This just looks terrible.

@Dmon

LOL. I was afraid someone would say that. I've watched a couple of his videos but that was several months ago. I just like that saying because it couldn't be anymore true in my situation. TV collects dust, computer shines bright. LMFAO.

His style doesn't fit well with this type of animation, not really liking the look of this.

Kirby Krackle's "Ring Capacity" should be the theme song.

Judging by the animation, their target audience is very young kids. Why can't these animators design the characters to look more life like or as they appear in the comics?

It looks TOO kid oriented. Ehh I will not watch this.

Bruce Timms art is pure style, you obviously haven't the artistic eye to appreciate his much awarded and highly acclaimed work!

Idiots should have released this shit two months BEFORE the movie, at least then the kids would have some interest!
Lert
Lert - 6/19/2011, 7:38 PM
how much money does the movie need to produce in order to get a sequal? or does WB know their mistakes and will release a 2nd without batting an eye?

I hate the design. It would have even sucked in the 90's. They shouldn't have done it like that, but maybe like young justice. I'll still check it out though.
