Bug can't appear because he is on fox's rights. I would like to see Adam Warlock and Mantis or Phyla Vell. Also Jack Flag is an interesting option. I don't think that Major Victory or Moondragon will appear. AND NOVA WOULD NOT APPEAR BECAUSE GUNN DISLIKE THE CARACTER.

Nova will appear at some point, to bad dr Gunn if he doesn't like it. Marvel is in charge.

Cosmo was kinda of shot down by Gunn on the Blu-Ray commentaries as being a full-time Guardian.

He said that Cosmo's real fur would make Rocket's CGI fur look faker by contrast. I really find that a shitty excuse.

cinnamon- i liked quill's GOTG movie suit but i wold love to see these suits at some point especially the tope one

I'm probably one of the few guys on here that would love the sequel to be a version of Planet Hulk.

Starting with the Guardians once again being incarcerated but this time on Sakaar (probably for committing 'a bit of both'). The Hulk turns up, having being ejected from the Earth during the events of Age of Ultron.

The the Guardians fill in for the roles of Hulk's lieutenants (Korg, Meik etc.) as they take on The Red King in an effort to free the planet from his despotic grip. Could be cool if the Red King turned out to be Red Skull, having ended up on Sakaar after being absorbed into the Tesseract.

Obviously the Silver Surfer would have to be changed and Beta Ray Bill (his replacement in the animated feature) has not yet been established but there are a load of cosmic-level heroes/villains (but prob heroes) that could be used. Moondragon would enable Drax's character to be further developed, Ronan could be 'resurrected' in the role, as well as many other's.

I have a feeling that we won't see Adam Warlock until Infinity War Part 1 and really hope that Richard Rider is introduced at some point regardless of Gunn's comments.

get the first captain marvel to show up, it would be a cool way to expand Danvers' character and power set

Just thought a mind-controlled version of the original Captain Marvel could be a great replacement for the Silver Surfer's character in my above post. This could then lead into the Captain Marvel movie coming in 2018, with him passing on his powers to Carol Danvers.

JUST Adam Warlock and Phyla-Vell, anyone else like Mantis or Cosmo can easily be side characters, there's just no reason for excessive amount of members, plus Mantis is perfect as a comrade who helps Groot when he is injured or something like that. Also, if they introduced cosmo I think it would be very difficult to get a real dog to be choreographed into a fight scene, I know there is well-trained dogs but I just don't see it happening.

Adam Warlock, he needs to have a big part in the sequel. He will also be needed in Infinity Wars, even if no one else from GOTG movies shows up.

Will the real Yondu please stand up? I wish Yondu was closer to his comic counterpart. I think Yondu is Quills father.

I thought we would get Nova at some point, but after watching GotG a few more times I realize the Nova Corps is an intergalactic police force. It seems they are more like Xanders version of SHIELD. That's why we don't see any Nova Force, the Xandarians have taken the place of the Skrulls in the Skrull-Kree War. Ronan mentions a thousand year long War between Xandar and the Kree. If we do get a Nova than he more than likely be Xandarian.

Out of this list you put together Warlock and Martyr are my picks.

If Marvel gets Spider-Man, than Agent Venom for sure.

Adam Warlock is pretty much a for sure thing in the sequel. Especially since everytime someone mentions him to Gunn, he gets quiet. Phyla-Vell, Mantis, and Moondragon are very likely in the sequel.
Major Victory should a character to get into further down the franchise

I would love to see Rocket Raccoon again in GOTG 2.

I would also like to see Cosmo and Jack Flag be introduced to new members of the team but i guarantee that Adam Warlock will be in GOTG 2 because the character is needed for Infinity War.

I personally really want Bug, but his rights are apparently elsewhere. So I'll settle for Phyla, Adam, and Cosmo. Also, let's get some cooler costumes for round 2.
