The first season of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power left off with Adora and her band of magical princesses successfully fending off Catra and the Horde forces. But when the show returns to Netflix for its sophomore season, the stakes will be even higher.

A trailer for Season 2 of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power debuted over the weekend at WonderCon, teasing the impending war between the Princess Alliance and the Horde. Season 2 seems to pick up not long after the first season with Adora embracing her destiny as the legendary warrior princess and leader of the Princess Rebellion. On the flipside, her former friend-turned-bitter rival, Catra, is moving in a completely opposite direction - down a path of evil as she rose to the rank of Hordak's right-hand woman.

A previous poster for the upcoming season teased a mighty clash between the two former friends, and in the trailer, we get a glimpse of how this rivalry will grow in season 2.

Firmly at the lead of the Princess Alliance, Adora embarks on a quest of self-discovery to learn more about her past and her future as She-Ra. With Catra rising the ranks of the Horde, the Rebellion must fight to thwart her next attack.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power Season 2 will premiere on Netflix on April 26.

My 8 year old daughter was not a fan, but she loves the dragon Prince - which is 10000x better animation and story - so I'm pretty happy she likes the better show.

I saw some leaked clips from WonderCon on Twitter, & there was a clever scene where the classic outfits were used.
Seems like they're starting this season off with a bang, sucks that there's only 7 episodes tho...
