A Better Iron Man 3 Post Credit Scene and How I Believe Ultron Will Be Introduced

After viewing Iron Man 3 a second time, and how the post credit scene left me unsatisfied. Here is a way Shane Black could have made it better, plus Ultron already hinted in the first Avengers, see after the jump.

So after watching Iron Man 3, for the second time(which I did enjoy both times I viewed it) I thought that the end credits scene was unsatisfying and could have answered a lot of questions. A big question that I keep seeing is where is SHIELD throughout this whole movie. So this is how the end credits should I went. You still continue with Tony talking on the couch with Bruce, but then have Nick Fury bust through the door, saying "Stark! SHIELD is still on clean-up duty in New York, but you failed to tell us that the President was kidnapped and almost killed!" Stark: "I had it all under control." Fury: "Yeah, just like your house, you and the government, Jesus pains in my ass!" Fury walks out, Bruce says "Someone should tell him to come see me, he is always angry."

Scene goes black, and the rest of the credits roll. This post credit scene definitely is a little better, you get an explanation of where SHIELD was during all of this and shows us that even the government didn't tell SHIELD, which leads to my second point.

I was watching Avengers yesterday, and two points came up that until seeing it again and connecting with the new movies coming out, that they make sense. First, when Loki ask Thor how much Dark Energy it took to travel to Earth, leads directly to how Malekith could return through the use of that much dark energy. Also, the World Council sends a nuke to New York to finish off the Battle of New York, and we know how that ends. Throughout that and thinking back to Iron Man 2, the government doesn't trust these heroes and want to have the power in their hands. This is where I can see the government working with HAMMER/AIM secretly to create Ultron to have their own hero and not need the Avengers. It would finish the Killian/ Justin Hammer revenge factor against Stark. Also I could see the government contacting Tony Stark to create Ultron, to "help" the Avengers but really to only replace them. Stark could be blackmailed as well (ex. Not telling SHIELD, the President was kidnapped.)

Thanks for reading and sound off in the comment section.

Thanks, yeah I felt so disappointed. Like they could have put anything in there to connect it to one of the next 3 movies before Avengers 2.

I wouldn't say "definitely better", given the cheese dialogue you wrote.

I get where you're coming from. I think they excluded SHIELD just so they wouldn't do a repeat of Iron Man 2. Iron Man 3 was more about Stark's personal journey. I'm assuming it's explained why each Avenger is absent from being mentioned in the movie once we see their own individual sequel movies and see how busy they are.

I wish they still went on track for tony to be in the guardians of the galaxy.. I really wanted to see the unique abilities all of those suits in the end had to offer. Especially the mark 39 Gemini space suit.. It looked so bad ass

And the heartbreaker and silver centurion

I'm sorry, but that was just stupid. Really, Shield needs Stark to tell them what's happening in the world? More than likely, Shield knew what was going on and trusted Stark to handle it. If he hadn't been able to, Shield would have been close behind. As to the other Avengers, more than likely each had other stuff going on. This isn't that hard to figure out. The end credits scene was fine, stop whining.

Stark was the one to figure it all out. Before the government and before shield.

The post credits served a purpose. Showed that stark was narrating he was recounting what had happened. Getting help. Which is something he struggles with. It also shows Banner is still around as I doubt we will see him again before Age Of Ultron.

Your idea for the Post Credit Scene is awful but the idea of the World Security Council trying to build Ultron to replace the Avengers has potential.

Honestly people need to get over it. Iron man can handle himself. its a terrorist (or so they thought) Not a super villain. So at the time i'm sure everyone figured he could do it on his own. Besides that, people just have to go with it. There simply isn't enough time to have EVERY hero get helped with EVERY problem. Then it would become redundant and wouldn't be a SOLO movie. I mean what, cap and hulk just show up, to save him? Then what. In the next movie iron man hulk and thor help out cap. It becomes old and boring. So you just have to let the solo movies be solo movies without pissing a moaning about it.
