Great find @Multi!

So many awesome stuff in that book. Why didn't they use some of those posters...but instead they released those not so good one...?

Also I wonder how would that alternate Suitcase Armor look on screen?

Some interesting pictures there but £24.99 (the same price as the Iron Man 2 PS3 game on Amazon) for a book consisting mainly of pictures just seems like a waste of money to me! :P

Also what does RT stand for when referring to his arc reactor? Repulsor something? cos in te first film when he uses the unibeam he says "divert power to chest RT" so I'm guessing it's the repulsor barrels/sockets or something.

I've seen it pop up in some of the image captions in the art book.

MULTI: Lol, each to one's own I guess! :) I dont mind buying the movie companions (the first two Spider-Man ones are especially interesting) but these types of books which I can flick through in 10 minutes just do nothing for me! A game I can enjoy for days though? Perfect.

@superhero i think that's the idea - since he makes all the drones anyway, it's probibly just his design style.

It looks good on screen, totaly bad ass and whips up a storm!

glad they didn't go with the mech looking one - way too bulky, and i don't like the big whips seprate from his arms.

@Sparrowsabre7: it stands for Repulsor Technology...
WOLVERINEDECADE
WOLVERINEDECADE - 5/4/2010, 10:31 PM
in Wikipedia, it says,

"Another defining trait is the chest-mounted "uni-beam", also known as the variobeam, and tri-beam (in the 2008 film, Tony commands J.A.R.V.I.S. to divert power to his "chest RT", or chest repulsor transmitter). Originally a spotlight and "proton beam," it has grown to accommodate a number of other weapons, primarily light and force-based"

so i guess its Repulsor Transmitter, not Repulsor Technology. I stand erected... uhm, corrected i mean...
