Popular Science recently reported on a man (he describes himself as an avid fan of Iron Man) who built a handheld laser projector inspired by Tony Stark's repulsor technology.
I find this fascinating, because we all know that even though the Iron Man technology is far from achievable by today's technological limitations, it is still a movie and character that was designed within the realm of reason. Meaning that the technologies presented in the movie does exist today in some form.
The
Powered Exoskeleton is another shining example of how this Iron Man technology is slowly working its way into our everyday lives.
