JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK: APOKOLIPS WAR - A Brutal New Look At The Movie Has LEAKED Online!

Justice League Dark: Apokolips War is set to be released this May, but in a newly leaked sneak peek, we get to see that Darkseid isn't going to be taking any prisoners in this brutal looking battle...

Warner Bros. Animation has been on a role with its direct-to-DVD DC Comics offerings as of late, but Justice League Dark: Apokolips War looks set to be a particularly brutal adventure.

In the leaked sneak peek below, we see Darkseid tearing his way through the DC Universe, brutally murdering the likes of Nightwing and Kilowog in the process! It feels like this could be the end for this shared animated world as we know it, and Apokolips War seemingly has all the makings of a finale.
The movie is set to be released on Digital on May 5th and DVD and Blu-ray on May 19th. We'll have a review before then, but you can check out our Superman: Red Son verdict in the meantime.
Here's the full synopsis for the R-Rated Justice League Dark: Apokolips:
Culminating a six-year animated journey that began with the release of Justice League War in 2014, Justice League Dark: Apokolips War finds Earth decimated after intergalactic tyrant Darkseid has devastated the Justice League in a poorly executed war by the DC Super Heroes. Now the remaining bastions of good – the Justice League, Teen Titans, Suicide Squad and assorted others – must regroup, strategize and take the war to Darkseid in order to save the planet and its surviving inhabitants. This is truly the war to end all wars, and only the victor will live to enjoy the spoils.

What do you guys think of this sneak peek showing Darkseid on the warpath?

@Lilmanz - The Harley Quinn cartoon's great, but I forgot you blindly hate on things due to your dumb tribalism

This dark, nihilistic attitude wore out it's welcome years ago and it looks as though DCs latest attempt to become "hip" is the worst of all. It's tiring as hell.
Just close the doors, DC.
It's over.

I’d love to see Hawkman and Hawkwoman/girl either (space or Egyptian) and Icon. There’s tons of potential in live action or animation

Waiting on the reboot at this point. New 52 stuff needs to go.

@BlackBeltJones - And so does the unnecessary R-ratings. Very much like the New 52, trying way too hard to be cool & edgy.

@WAKANDABATMANFOREVER - What's funny is when I was a kid in the late seventies to mid-80s they were edgier.

The last good DC animated movie I saw was Batman vs TMNT. And that wasn't even technically part of this DCAU.

This just looked ultra violent for no good reason, like come on.

Man Nightwing can’t catch a break in animated films. Most disrespected martial artist in DC comics

So I’m assuming that everyone complaining isn’t going to watch this when it comes out? Or they’re going to say “I’m going to illegally stream it so WB doesn’t get any money for it”. Folks should just appreciate different takes on comic book adaptations, doing something different pushes the genre along. If you don’t like the trailer then don’t watch it.

@WruceBayne - They are on every DC thread to let you know how much they don't care about DC 😂😂

Red Son was better than I expected. I’m all for more DC animated movies, but most have been a let down recently. This actually looks good.

Not feeling this R rating at all. What they were doing with Mera kinda made me a little sick...

This and the new Mortal Kombat cartoon both look like animated “gore porn” to me. 🤷‍♂️👎
