"Okay you c*nts! Let's see what you can do now!" Moretz wasn't afraid to show her bad side when acting behind the mask of Hit-Girl, and you can be sure that the same attitude will return when the second installment hits the silver screen. In the latest issue of Total Film magazine, Moretz shared her thoughts of the profanity usage and why she feels it is important to her character. Check it out below.
I think you saw Mindy two times in the whole story. But in this movie, you see way more of Mindy than you do of Hit-Girl. You see this young girl struggling with who she is. In the last film, I only cussed six times in the movie - I counted! – but each time was really pivotal and it really meant something. And in this film it’s the same – it’s not like she just drops it all the time because she’s older. She only uses it when she’s Hit-Girl. She doesn’t use it when she’s Mindy.

Kick-Ass 2 is directed by Jeff Wadlow, and stars returning cast members Aaron Johnson, Chloe Grace Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, along with Jim Carrey, Lyndsy Fonseca, Yancy Butler, Donald Faison, John Leguizamo, Lindy Booth, and Olga Kurkulina. The film will strike theaters August 16th!
