Kick Ass 2 Delayed; A Comic To Come Out Every 6 Weeks

Bleeding Cool reports:

Mark Millar and John Romita Jr’s sequel to their Marvel comic Kick Ass has been plagued with delay, rather, which Millar has attributed to John Romita Jr having to prioritise company-owned Marvel work as part of his contract with the publisher.


However he tweeted today a committment to a Kick Ass 2 schedule in coming months, to get the series out.

News just in: Kick-Ass #4 out last week in Sept, #5 out 2nd week in Nov & #6 out at Christmas. We’re on strict 6-weekly schedule now.

Expect a press release to this effect shortly.

In related news, two issues of Millar’s also-late series with Leinil Francis Yu, #5 and #6 of Superior are now scheduled to ship from Marvel in October.

it could be worst i brought frank miller's hard boiled 2 in the 90s when it first came out,it took 18 months to get issue 3.

image comics is just as bad remember dale keown pitt or whilce portacio wetworks now they had big gaps between issues.
