KICK-ASS 2 based on the comic book created by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. and is being directed by Jeff Wadlow. The film stars Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloë Moretz, Jim Carrey, Lyndsy Fonseca, Yancy Butler, Donald Faison, John Leguizamo, Lindy Booth, Olga Kurkulina, and Nicolas Cage makes a cameo. The film hits domestic theaters on June 28, 2013 and in UK theaters July 19, 2013.

As someone who hasn't read the comics, what is attached to Colonel Carrey's belt? It almost looks like a bat or something...

Other than that, everything looks great so far, except maybe Night Bitch and Insect Man. I heard their costumes aren't that faithful. But, whatever, I'm still liking it.

Jim Carrey looks AWESOME. However, isn't Night Bitch supposed to wear an outfit that's a mix between Wonder Woman's & a Dominatrix's outfit???? I'm sorry but that outfit NEVER included pants! She probably complained cause it was too cold However, I've been to Toronto at that time before. It Does NOT get that cold! That outfit sucks & It needs to be changed like Wonder Woman's pants.

Wow. Jim Carrey looks great, and a spit image of his character. I may watch this film 'cause of Jim only. Wasn't really interested in Kick-Ass or the sequel, Kick-Ass 2, but now that Jim Carrey is involved, then I'll watch it. The guy is a legend and a talented actor. :)

@ AUSSYACE - Dear AUSSYACE you are a fool. As indigobolt956 Stated he obviously has comedy under wraps. He has been an icon in the comedy world. Is it different? Yes! And it's fantastic. He was doing plenty of serious work until he got type casted for comedy. When you strike oil, don't start digging somewhere else. And as far has his legit acting skills look to:

-Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
-The Majestic
-Man on the Moon (in some ways, think outside the box)
-The Truman Show (lot of small moments of serious acting)

Am i saying he is the best in both or even either field, maybe and maybe not. But sure as hell, one way or the other, he deserves respect in both fields.

So far, looking at whats been leaked, some of the costumes are straight from the comics, some have been changed quite a bit. Its to be expected.

Carrey was robbed at the Oscars for his portrayal of Andy Kaufman! He went deep for that role. Great actor (when he wants to be)
