WARNING: Possible Spoilers Ahead!

"There is a cameo by John Romita Jr., the other author of the book, which nobody has spotted yet because Johnny has his back to you in the cameo," Millar told MTV News about the comic book artist's role on screen as a bartender. "Yeah just for a fraction second you see him."

"I had a little cameo as well, where I was playing an alcoholic, a Scottish alcoholic. And that got cut from final of the movie, hopefully it’ll end up in the extended version that Matthew’s working on," the writer revealed. "I was hoping to be something cool like a Special Forces guy or something. And they said, 'No no, you’d be great as a Scottish Alcoholic' and I was like, 'okay.'"

Millar also said that fans should keep an eye out for the appearence of some of his past comic book work and let's slip some info about Red Mist's new name in the sequel at the same time, "In the final scene where you see Chris Mintz-Plasse going from Red Mist to the character of The Mother [frick]er — the bad guy he becomes at the very end of the movie — you see a copy of 'The Ultimates' lying on the desk and 'Ultimate X-Men.'"

"I also threw in a lot of stuff from my friends as well. Like Brian K. Vaughan, I think he is a great writer, so I made sure one of the guys was was reading a copy of 'Runaways' in the comic shop."

"So even if these guys never get movies made, at least they were in a movie!"

I thought it was awesome. It surprised me, it got kind of emotional near the end for me, didn't expect that.

I didn't really notice any Comics I should have. lol

Btw Any one who knew I was trying to get involved in his new film I thought I would share that it saqdly is not happening for me! Since Kick-Ass has been released in the UK he has been inundated with people wanting a part in his next film. The fact that it is going to be made in Glasgow was in the Local Newspaper 'The Herald' and Has not helped people like me who have known about him and follwed him for a while!

I know for a fact that there are many people who have jumped at the chance of being on the big screen pretending to be a fan of his and depriving real fans like me on joining the production in even the tiniest way!

I just thought I'd add my opinion. I apologise though, I've drank a lot of rum! ;)

The movie was AWSOME, I read some review on it before hand and they said it was really unbalanced, what with all the violence then switching to drama... f that man. These people are supposed to be real! JUST the right amount of violence and drama. LOVED IT!!!

Saw the Runaways and a reference to Scott Pilgrim. I didn't see anything else though, other than the obvious ending.

the best easter egg HAS to be the movie that kick ass goes to see...

the movie title is shown for a few seconds, but it's got to be the best comic joke ever.

Went and saw the 10 PM showing. I SERIOUSLY hope they make a sequel as long as it can live up to what I just saw! I went in with high expectations (although I admittedly try to never do so), and those expectations were more than met. It was such a good movie that I'll be watching the Losers next Friday, skipping over watching Nightmare, and instead watching Kick Ass one more time. It was a great movie, and you would all do well to see it in theaters. DasBoot Audi 5000

Just got back from the movie and I thought it was great. Hit Girl was my fav, great action scenes and dialogue. I kept thinking how good Mark Strong is going to be as Sinestro and how good GL is going to be.

They're in a comic-book store in a few scenes. In most of them you're just looking at Lyndsy Fonseca though. :)

If you can take your eyes off her though, there's racks and racks of comics to spot.

Just got back from seeing it. It was pretty awesome. I'm happy with it. Some differences here and there, but i think are better with a movie translation. Definately had that movie feel. Some things made more sense, some things less, but overall still pretty good and had most of the essence of the book.

I expected great things from this flick and it somehow managed to exceed it! I thought the parts that differed from the comics were fantastic! Its a film I wanted to turn right back around and watch it again! Definite must experience!
