Back in November, we received news from director Jeff Wadlow that Kick-Ass 2 had wrapped filming, and with a June release date, it's very likely that we'll have a trailer or teaser for it soon. While surfing the web (the IMDb page of Kick-Ass 2), I came across possible descriptions of Kick-Ass 2 trailers from an IMDb user who claims to have seen them in a focus group. Keep in mind that the source is only an IMDb user, but the descriptions seem legit according to someone who "hasn't read the second comic". Here they are:
"Trailer 1: Opening scene was Dave has a bullet proof vest on and Mindy is shooting him so he gets used to getting shot (same thing as the Big Daddy scene from the first film) and after he gets shot once he flies back and says they're done, but Mindy says no and runs to her bag and pulls out a huge magnum and shoots him back again. I don't remember the order of these next few shots but there were shots of Mindy performing in front of everyone in what looked like a P.E. class but she was imagining there were ninjas in front of her. Yes I swear ninjas. It works trust me. Then there was another scene of Mindy and Dave training and Mindy says, "you're being a vagina!" and Dave says, "You're beating me like one!" There was a quick scene of Kick-Ass and Colonel Stars meeting and Colonel Stars says "check this out" and whacks a guy across the head with his stick and Kick-Ass looks frightened, which leads to Colonel Stars saying, "well if you're not having fun, what's the point?" Then there were shots of Dave being held at knife in a van and Mindy (not in costume) jumping on the van and shooting through the van from above. There were scenes of people shooting in a graveyard. Then there was a warehouse scene where the two sides are lined up and Kick-Ass and Red Mist (I believe he has a new name in the 2nd movie, sorry they didn't say it and I don't know it) are talking and they begin to fight. It cut to a quick shot of the Big Daddy suit then Kick ass wearing the armor over his. It looked fantastic. The final scene was Colonel Stars and Kick-Ass interrogating a guy and Colonel Stars has his dog bite the guy being interrogated in the "family jewels" That's about all I can remember from this trailer.
Trailer 2: For the most part everything was the same except for a few moments. The opening scene was Mindy's guardian (the cop from the first film) feeling her head and asking if she's sick while she's in bed. Mindy is sweating and there's some blood hidden on the side of her face and he notices it and pulls back her sheets and she has her Hit Girl costume on. From here the trailer was a lot of the same shots as the first one. Except there was one scene on a roof where Mindy agrees to join Kick-Ass's team and all of the super heroes circle around and put their hands in the air (it sounds cheesy but it looked awesome) The final scene of the trailer was different, it was Colonel Stars and Kick-Ass in a room and Colonel Stars says, "Alright turn around and unzip yourself" and there's a long pause and Kick-Ass says, "Wait...What!?" then Colonel Stars says, "I'm just playing with you" and everyone laughs.
Trailer 3: This was the shortest trailer and it was all about Mindy and Hit Girl. They sell it like a high school drama sort of like Mean Girls. Mindy's walking in the halls and everyone's making fun of her backpack and whatnot. The scene where she's imagining she's beating up ninjas is much longer (she's supposed to be in dance class) after she finishes everyone in her class begins cheering. From here it cuts to her beating up bad guys and whatnot, she has a line that was hilarious that she says to another student about "shoving her foot up her snatch." There's a great shot of her looking in the mirror where her reflection is Hit Girl but she's wearing regular clothes. Like I said this one was really short so that's about it."
Well there you have it. I suspect these are all alternates of the first trailer we'll see but nothing's official. What do guys think?
Kick-Ass 2 is set to hit theaters on June 28th, 2013.
